It is often difficult to make purchasing decisions when we have so much selection. We need the right information to make the right choice. The AroMed is a strong and powerful stationary vaporizer from Research & Experience in Germany and comes with a water filtration system. The Vapir Rise is a new and first stationary vaporizer from Vapir that has a lot of accessories. We are putting these vaporizers head to head to see which one is best for you. Let the battle begin!
AroMed vs VapirRise
The AroMed produces some of the smoothest vapor on the market. It uses a unique halogen light bulb based heating system that combines with a glass water filtration system. You place your botanical into the chamber, attach the light and filtration system and take a draw. You won’t find smoother vapor like this anywhere else. You can also substitute other drinks to let you cool and flavor your vapor. The vapor quality produced by the Rise needs work. You can only get up to a maximum temperature of 204 degrees Celsius. This prevents the Rise from producing thicker and heavier vapor. You have to assemble a lot of parts to start vaporizing, which isn’t ideal. Also, you can’t preheat effectively because you can’t turn off the fan. Preheating is pretty much a requirement in most vaporizers to get a good quality session out of your botanical.
The AroMed is a very well designed vaporizer. The halogen bulb works well and the unique heat control system is very effective. It has a very simple three button design with a digital readout. While it produces great vapor, it does consists of a large amount of glass. This means that you have to be very careful when filling and replacing water in the filtration system. You also have to watch out when connecting different parts of the unit. Overall, it is a smart unit but it is very delicate at the same time. The Rise is very well built. The casing is made of stainless steel and the heating chamber is ceramic. A digital display lets you set temperature. The Rise is a solid and robust stationary vaporizer. Also, it comes with a lot of well-built accessories that require some assembly. Some better control over the fan would have been appreciated.
Ease of Use
The AroMed only requires quite a few small steps to get going. You need to fill the water filter, attach the water filtration system to the unit, insert the heating chamber, insert the halogen bulb (all without breaking the fragile glass pieces) before setting your temperature and heating the unit. The components are mostly glass, so you have to be extra careful when using it which can make for a more nerve-wracking experience. As for the Rise, it and it’s accessories are much more robust. As a result, you’ll be able to set up the unit and sit back to enjoy your session without a care in the world!
The digital display on the AroMed gives you super precise control. Using the glass water filter, you can get smooth and cool vapor even at higher temperatures. The flexibility is really fantastic on the AroMed. The Rise is good, but could be better. The digital display should give us control but the design of the rest of the unit prevents it. You can’t turn off the fan without turning off the heating element, reducing the ability to preheat. We think the Rise will likely fix this in generations to come which will further improve the temperature flexibility of the unit.
The Aromed doesn’t really have many extra options. You can only use the water filtration system and whip, as there is no option or attachment for bags. While these work incredibly well, it would be nice to have the choice of using bags. The Rise comes with many different accessories. You can vaporize using a whip style attachment, bag attachment or even the multi user adapter. once you’ve gotten the hang of them, you’ll be able to vaporize in many different ways.
Overall, the Rise put up a good fight against the AroMed and managed to put it’s value behind its punches to take the win. The AroMed might still boast the best vapor quality, but dollar-for-dollar the Rise still wins out over the AroMed. If you want to check out both of these vaporizers, go to Torontovaporizer.ca.
