Aspire Feedlink Revvo kit Review – Feed me Seymour

The first thing you’ll probably notice about the Aspire Feedlink Revvo is the variety of front and back panels that the kit comes in. Available in either a textured moulded plastic or colorful resin, the panels are easily swappable with the help of a simple Allen key, giving you lots of potential colourways to play with.

While the individual panels aren’t being sold by Aspire at time of writing, it’s a strong possibility that they will be soon, so if you’re into customizing your mod to get that colorway you want, this kit is a strong option.

Overall, the mod feels very sturdy without any wiggling or rattling noises. Ergonomics are on point as well, with the device offering a very comfortable hand feel. The fire button placement close to the top is very accessible and easily within reach.

At the bottom of the device, you’ll find the battery cap which threads off, and I just have to say that the threads on the cap aren’t the smoothest, giving you a little bit of crunch when twisting the cap on or off.

The kit also comes with a soft silicone bottle. It’s a bit on the soft side which should work well for most squonk fans out there. One thing though is that Aspire has gone with a proprietary design on the bottle, so you won’t be able to use aftermarket options.

The Revvo Boost tank that comes with the kit is constructed out of sturdy stainless steel with some glass comprising the glass chamber. Machining on the tank feels very quality without any rough burrs or edges that might get in the way of you taking the tank apart of putting it back together. It comes with the bottom-feeding pin pre-installed so there’s no need to fiddle around with that after opening the box.

In terms of flavor production, not much has changed when it comes to the vaping experience with the Revvo Boost tank. The supplied ARC coils do a sufficient job of translating your favorite e-liquid into thick vapor.

While the decreased coil mass means that you won’t get as intense of a vape as you would from fancier exotic coils such as Claptons, the vapor production is still great thanks to the large surface area in contact with the organic cotton wick.

Airflow on the Revvo Boost tank is plenty smooth although it does produce a bit of turbulence when dialing down the airflow to a lower setting. One thing that sets the Revvo Boost apart from other squonking kits is the kit uses a squonking sub-ohm tank instead of an RDA.

What this means for you is that the e-liquid from your squonking bottle doesn’t feed directly into the coils but to the tank instead. A big advantage of this is that the maximum e-liquid capacity is at 9ml with the contents of the bottle and tank combined, requiring a lot less refills.

Ease of Use

Thanks to the high-quality documentation and manual that comes with the kit, the Aspire Feedlink Revvo is pretty straightforward to set up out of the box. The battery compartment uses clearly marked polarity indicators to ensure that your batteries are always installed the right way.

Filling and installing the included squonk bottle is relatively straightforward and while it’s not as simple as filling a tank, the leak-proof experience you get out of the Aspire Feedlink Revvo is definitely worth the tradeoff.

The mod turns on and off with a simple five clicks allowing for easy and safe storage. The installed mosfet also works well as it properly limits the maximum power draw of the mod from your battery making it a lot safer to use than traditional mechanical mods.

Portability

The Aspire Feedlink Revvo is an impressive entry by Aspire into the world of squonking, especially when considering that the company doesn’t have much experience in manufacturing squonk kits.

The ergonomic shape combined with the reliable performance and overall ease of use make it a winner for any vaper out there looking to get into squonking.
