Manufacturing Quality

When it comes to looks, the  Eleaf Lexicon is a definite winner. Sporting an exterior body fashioned out of a high-grade aluminum alloy, the mod has that sparkle that lets it stand out amongst its peers, regardless of what colorway you decide on getting. The kit is available in red, black, silver, dazzling blue, and purple.

Eleaf has also taken some hints from how Smok does things as the included ELLO Duro tank comes in a matching color that perfectly complements the mod for the ideal uniform look.

Aside from a matching tank, the kit also includes tinted pyrex glass chambers that perfectly go with the color scheme of your chosen colorway.

Instead of straight cut edges or the typical rounded edge seen in mods centered around ergonomics, the  Eleaf Lexicon features diagonal cuts on the top and bottom edges making for an ergonomic yet highly stylized look and feel. As for the RGB light show that the mod boasts of, the  Eleaf Lexicon thankfully manages to do it right.

The front and top edges of the device are tastefully accented with a high quality LED strip, with the front panel divvied up into three “sections” by the forked LED strip layout.

While the  Eleaf Lexicon uses a basic LED display that might be considered outdated by today’s standards, the display still manages to relay all important information without much compromise. The subdued screen also means that there’s a bigger emphasis on the aesthetic of the device which might appeal to vapers who aren’t a fan of giant obtrusive displays on their electronic cigarettes.

The top of the mod features a centered 510 connection that can easily accommodate atomizers up to 26mm in diameter without any overhang. The spring loaded design facilitates a seamless connection between the mod and tank guaranteeing no annoying issues with connectivity between the two.

The side of the mod is where the hexagonal firing button can be found. Tactility and clickiness are two of its strong points and it offers a lot of it, displaying a clear and well-defined actuation with every press.

Flavor Quality

Each kit comes packaged with an HW-N and HW-M coil head, rated at 0.2 and 0.15 ohms respectively. Despite being different models, both coils perform similarly in the aspect that they offer lots of flavor and vapor.

Instead of the typical round wire setup, the HW series uses a mesh-like coil for relatively more even distribution of heat and vaporization of e-liquid.

Another factor that sets the ELLO Duro tank apart from the rest of the pack is its use of an acrylic drip tip instead of the standard Delrin or Ultem tips commonly seen on many tanks.

While the feel is more or less the same, it does offer a bit more freedom when it comes to possible designs available. Like most tanks, the ELLO Duro also features dual adjustable airflow slots that allow fine-tuning of your vaping experience to exactly how you want it.

Eleaf Lexicon power controlPower Flexibility

The sky is the limit when it comes to the  Eleaf Lexicon. With its awesome 235 maximum wattage output, there’s hardly a build out there that this mod cant fire. Ramp up on the standard variable wattage mode is quick and virtually non-existent while misfires are a thing of the past.

The chip used by the  Eleaf Lexicon can handle resistances as low as 0.05 ohms which is as low as you can get within the realm of safety and practicality. This means you shouldn’t have any trouble firing up even the hottest coil builds on this mod.

Aside from variable wattage, the Eleaf Lexicon is capable of firing up stainless steel, nickel, and titanium coils in temperature control without a hitch. Customisable TCR is also an option for the truly detail-oriented vaper that isn’t afraid of getting know the most intimate capabilities of their device.Eleaf Lexicon tank

While the slightly smaller screen of the  Eleaf Lexicon can sometimes get in the way of menu navigation, it’s not much of a problem in day to day use which is exceedingly straightforward. Five clicks on the fire button turns the device on and off for quick activation and storing of the mod. Swapping the batteries out for a fresh pair is hassle-free as well.

The trapdoor battery compartment at the bottom of the mod easily opens up when you want it to and stays firmly shut when needed. Clearly indicated polarity markers are a big plus in ensuring that your two 18650 batteries are always properly inserted in the correct orientation.

Portability

Standing at 45mm*31mm*132.5mm the Eleaf Lexicon fits into the average size category of dual 18650 devices. It’s definitely got some heft to it weighing in at 228 grams, so while it may easily slip into your pocket, having a heavy mod in there jostling around while you walk might not be the most ideal situation.

Battery life is a no-brainer on the Eleaf Lexicon thanks to the dual battery setup. Expect a full day’s worth of high powered vaping at the minimum, even if you’re a heavy vaper. While the mod does support 2 amp charging via the micro USB port. Its always recommended using a dedicated external charger to guarantee your batteries are properly balanced when charging.Eleaf Lexicon flat display

Overall Experience

If you’re looking for a device that pretty much pulls everything off performance wise and doesn’t skimp on the bling factor while doing so, the Eleaf Lexicon is an excellent choice for those into the futuristic look.

The mods strong vaping performance coupled with the excellent coil design make for a strong pairing that most kits strive for. Add the stellar battery life on top of all that and you’ve got an almost instant buy granted you’re a fan of the kit’s aesthetics.

If you want something extremely simple, check out the Kandypens Rubi and if you are looking for a mod style kit to start with we recommend the SMOK Procolor.
