Plenty vs VapeXhale Cloud Evo – Stationary Shootout

0

As far as hard-hitting desktop vaporizers go, the Plenty by Storz and Bickel and the VapeXhale EVO are about as good as you are going to find. Both are extremely popular with the people who own them, which can make it difficult to choose between the two. We’re about to make it much easier for you, because there is a clear winner in this showdown…

Plenty vs VapeXhale Cloud EVOPlenty vs Vapexhale Showdown

Plenty vs Vapexhale Vapor QualityVapor Quality

Both of these vaporizers offer excellent vapor. Perhaps more importantly, they both offer dense vapor.

As far as vaporizers go, the Plenty is actually the top of the line when it comes to vapor density, making it the go to option for people who like hard-hitting draws. If you are transitioning from primarily smoking your herbs, you’ll likely appreciate this aspect of the Plenty.

While there are other vaporizers that can also hit hard, none do it while preserving as much flavor as the Plenty. It also goes down smooth thanks to the long metal coiling coil. This makes the Plenty a triple threat with strong, smooth, and flavorful vapor. You can’t get much better.

The EVO also offers very dense vapor, and it goes down smooth when you use it with a water attachment. VapeXhale offers Hydratubes that are designed specifically for the EVO, or you can use something that you already have. I highly recommend one of these options if you do decide to get the EVO.

The only downside to using a water attachment is that you will lose some of the subtle flavor nuances. I’m giving the Plenty the win for this reason. While they both offer very dense yet smooth vapor, the Plenty maintains more of the flavor profile of your herb.

Plenty vs Vapexhale Manufacturing QualityManufacturing Quality

The Plenty looks more like a tool than a vaporizer, and its built like one two. I mean that in a good way. This is a highly refined piece of machinery that you can rely on for a long time.

Two aspects of the design that I really enjoy are the giant heating chamber and the metal cooling coil. The chamber has a large surface area, especially compared to most vaporizers, and I think this has a lot to do with the vapor density. The cooling coil is a great way to keep the vapor smooth.

The EVO is also built well. The vapor pathway keeps the air completely separate from the interior elements, even the heater. To make this possible, there is a glass tube that runs through the middle of the unit and the heater wraps around the outside of it.

While they are both built very well using quality components, there is one area where I think the Plenty gains an advantage: the temperature gauge. The EVO has a knob and the only indication of your temperature is on a sleeve that you put over the unit to make it less hot to the touch. The Plenty has an actual mechanical thermometer that lets you see the exact temperature.

Plenty vs Vapexhale Ease of UseEase of Use

These are both very easy to use. The Plenty has a power switch and a trigger that keeps the heater running. If you don’t keep hitting the trigger, the auto-shutoff gets engaged. There is a small wheel that you turn to set the temperature.

The EVO also has a power switch and a knob to adjust the temperature. If you aren’t using a water attachment, you really only have to fill the chamber and turn it on to use it. If you do use the Hydratube, you have to be careful to not overfill it. Overfilling can cause leaking which can easily damage the base.

Plenty vs Vapexhale ReachReach

You have to actually hold both of these vaporizers to use them. The Plenty is much more convenient to pass around though, thanks to a design that is meant to be held. This makes it great for groups.

I don’t think the EVO is a good choice if you are looking for a vaporizer that you can use with groups. There’s just too much glass involved, and it’s not as easy to pass around. All you need is one clumsy friend to knock the EVO over and that is the end of your vape session.

Plenty vs Vapexhale VersatilityVersatility

The Plenty isn’t very versatile. While there are people who perform mods on them to be able to use it with something other than the metal cooling coil, I’ve found that it performs much better when left stock.

This means the only thing you can change about this is the temperature. The Plenty is designed to do one job, which is delivering excellent vapor. It does this very well, so I don’t find the lack of versatility all that troubling.

The EVO isn’t very versatile either, but the fact that you can use it with a glass stem or a water filtration attachment earns it the win in this category. There are several Hydratube styles to choose between, which is also nice.

Plenty vs Vapexhale Temperature FlexibilityTemperature Flexibility

The Plenty has better temperature flexibility because it has an actual thermometer to tell you the temperature. The EVO doesn’t have this, so you never know exactly what temperature you’ve set it at. The temperature on the Plenty is changed with a wheel, while the EVO has a knob.

Plenty vs Vapexhale WinnerSHOWDOWN

The Plenty is our winner!

While these are both excellent vaporizers, the Plenty manages to outshine the EVO’s great vapor with even better flavor. The build quality is also better, which led to a pretty easy win over the EVO.

The EVO is fun to use, mostly thanks to the Hydratubes. If you don’t plan on using either the Hydratube or your own water filtration, I recommend avoiding the EVO. It’s a well made vaporizer, but there are other options that you can get that are just as good but much cheaper.

If you are looking for a hard-hitting desktop, you won’t be disappointed by the Plenty, be sure to pick one up from our store.
