SMOK Veneno Kit Vape Review – Lambo of Vapes?
Review: SMOK Veneno Kit
Manufacturing Quality
The manufacturing quality of the SMOK Veneno Kit is above average. As with all SMOK vapes they have put careful consideration into the layout and design of this model. The 7 different color options and sturdy ergonomic design make this an appealing durable device.
Included in the kit is the Veneno mod itself, USB charging cable, user manual, 1 TFV8 big baby light edition tank, 1 V8 baby Q2 .4 dual coil, 1 V8 baby T8 .15 octuple coil and 6 spare o-rings. This is a complete kit that includes everything you need to start vaping e-liquids.
A cool feature with the SMOK Veneno Kit is its ability to be upgraded after it leaves the warehouse. You are able to plug it into your computer and install/upgrade it with new software.
Similar to the other newer models of SMOK vapes the Veneno has an intelligent atomizer recognition system which is able to automatically detect which type is in place and set settings accordingly. The Veneno Kit has short circuit protection, puff monitoring system, overheating protection protocol, an over charging protection feature, and a safety shutoff function.
The components and materials used to build the SMOK Veneno Kit are of good quality and built to last. The LED lights and screen do not take too much power away from the usage time and it looks pretty cool.
Flavor Quality
The Veneno Kit mod has a temperature range of 200 F to 600 F. It uses the TFV8 Q2 Big Baby light edition tank with a 510 thread and 5 ml capacity. For cloud chasers, this tank system is a safe bet. The V8 Baby T8 is designed to deliver deep and rich flavor with its 0.15 quad coils. The V8 X4 is designed to bring you that smooth and silky taste.
The Delrin drip tip that comes with the Veneno Kit helps to achieve optimum flavor of your e-liquids and offers an increased adjustable airflow. You have the option of purchasing a wide range of Cobra drip tip colors if you want to switch things up and make your mod kit more unique. To adjust the airflow you twist the ring at the base of the atomizer.
Power Flexibility
The Veneno Kit is a wide range mod that you can set anywhere between the range of 1 watt up to 225 watts of power. There are three different modes you are able to choose from within this range.
You can use temperature mode to enhance the consistency and flavor of every puff. Wattage mode is designed to help you achieve those larger cloud rips.
And memory mode is in there to help you quickly start vaping. As with most mods you will hold down the fire button and inhale – the longer you hold it down and the more often you take hits the hotter the coil will be.
Ease of Use
The Veneno Kit uses a top vape juice filling system that is simple and easy to use. Step one in filling is to hold the tank with one hand, use your other to press down on the top cp and move it counter clockwise (left). Step 2 is to add your e-liquid through the slot that you should now see (make sure not to poor any into the central airflow tube). The final thing is to close the lid back on firmly and let it sit for a few mins to allow the liquid to absorb into the cotton.
The display screen of the Veneno Kit is an effective tool that makes your sessions easier to control, understand and more enjoyable. The display informs you of the two battery remaining life indicators. The color of the screen can be switched between 1 of 6 colors and also between 12 other color modes.
Its easy to do all this when the device is in your hands, but a few of the features of the screen and what it displays to you are as follows: The screen displays the running time in seconds, a lock feature, current temperature and voltage settings, puff time, working power, memory mode, drawing effect, resistance value, and other vape data.
There are 3 modes you can switch between for your session. There is VW, TC (Ti, Ni, SS) and Memory mode. Depending on the current mode you have the mod set to, the display screen will adjust accordingly.
Portability
The SMOK Veneno Kit has a compact design considering how many features it has under its hood. If the 5 ml tank is not enough to get you through the day or through your travels there are additional tanks that have a higher e-liquid capacity that you can get with this mod. Similar to the Mag Kit the Veneno prevents leaking of vape juices with the top fill system.
The portability of the Veneno Kit is solidified by the use of two 18650 mAh batteries. The use of a dual battery life display indicator system helps to keep track of both batteries individually. The fact that the Veneno uses external batteries is a positive in my books. You can carry extras and if a battery goes completely dead you can just pop in another.
Overall Experience
After using the SMOK Veneno Kit I think that it is an overall solid vape in both performance and build quality. Its ergonomic design is comfortable to hold and not awkward like some of the other vapes I have tried. The 5 ml tank in the standard edition is able to hold enough vape juice and the option to use larger tanks keeps things open.
As with most SMOK products the array of options to mix and match and try different coils and tanks is what keeps customers coming back for upgraded models. Our review here was focused mainly on the performance of this device in contrast with its price – I feel that its a good deal and you should be happy with your purchase.
If you want something extremely simple, check out the Kandypens Rubi and if you are looking for a mod style kit to start with we recommend the SMOK Procolor.
