MagicalButter Review – Smooth, simple results!

How it Works

The MagicalButter machine has a bunch of different operating modes. For the most part, all you need to do is load your specific ‘recipe’ in, select the appropriate heat settings and off you go! They do recommend that you decarboxylate your cannabis before cooking, this is especially true when making recipes that cook for shorter times, the MB Baker’s kit does provide you with a convenient silicone decarb container to use in the oven with a thermometer.

If you are a person who uses a vaporizer like the Utillian 722 and saves your ABV, you can just toss that straight into the MagicalButter as it has already been decarbed. The user manual includes a few quality recipes for making things like tinctures, cooking oils and butter.

Many recipes found online are compatible with the MagicalButter, letting you experiment with a plethora of things. It takes a lot of the guesswork and somewhat complicated processes needed to get quality results and packs all of that down into one press of a button.

Manufacturing Quality

Though highly priced, you get what you pay for in this department. Build quality feels sturdy and reliable with well-machined parts. You’re even given a convenient ‘LoveGlove’, which is a practical and grippy cooking glove, as well as a quality PurifyFilter which helps you strain your liquid material from any sediments that can later be used with units such as the Linx Hermes 3.

Though the LED’s on the top may be tacky to some, I find it to be an appealing little touch and the MagicalButter looks like fancy thermos or blender of sorts when not in use.

The MagicalButter also has a ‘ScentLock’ lid which comes in really handy! If you’ve ever cooked with cannabis, you’ve certainly noticed the overwhelming pungent aroma that comes as a result.

Though the Magical Butter isn’t 100% scent proof, it’s certainly a huge reduction in the smell category, and definitely does the trick for those looking to reduce their aromatic footprint! 

Ease of Use

Especially compared to traditional cooking and infusing methods, the MagicalButter couldn’t be any easier! Without even having to pre-grind your cannabis, you just toss in your botanicals, any other ingredients the recipe calls for, hit the appropriate button and you’re ready to go! Wait for it to cook, remove after cooking and use whatever you’ve made appropriately with your oil pen vape such as the Vessel 510 thread battery.

It even has an automatic ‘Car Wash’ feature that makes things even easier! Rinse the machine gently, fill the pitcher halfway with water, add a small squirt of dish soap and hit the ‘Clean’ button.

Rinse out the remaining solution afterward and towel dry. It’s remarkable how simple and automated the entire process is, and for medical patients with any disabilities, the MagicalButter will really come in handy. 

Performance

Overall, the MagicalButter performs very well! Oftentimes, your end results may rival or even beat out premade products you’d receive from a store! Creating a cooking oil takes just around an hour, butter in about 2 and a quality tincture in either 4 or 8 hours. There’s really no other way to quickly get dependable results with such little hassle.

The butter and oil comes out strong with great compatibility with any food you want to make. Some people like to cook their botanicals for even longer to achieve a more thorough extraction and stronger end product.

This is especially true when it comes to making tinctures, and I would always use the 8 hour preset rather than just 4 hours so I get more bang for my buck.

Some users that prefer quality oil for vaping with devices like the SMOK Micare usually tend to lean towards using MagicalButter.

Overall Experience

If you love to cook with cannabis but tired of properly grinding, stirring and monitoring your product, then the MagicalButter may come in extremely useful! Especially for those with a partner who’s opposed to the pungent aroma, the greatly reduced aroma will be a strong feature too.

You can definitely achieve similar results without the MagicalButter, though you’ll need a lot of trial and error as well as a natural knack for cooking in order to do so.

For medical patients who like a consistent, predictable end result, it’s a no-brainer. The investment may be daunting to the casual consumer but even if you use it only once every couple months it will pay for itself.
