DaVinci IQ vs Miqro Review

DaVinci IQ vs Miqro mouth pieceVapor Quality

You might assume the bigger unit has better vapor quality and you’d be right. The IQ has a slightly larger bowl at ~0.4 grams cannabis, compared to the Miqro’s 0.3 gram bowl. The vapor path on the IQ is also longer with more time to cool down before it reaches your mouth.

The Miqro also ditches the flavor chamber. Many people didn’t see much purpose in it while some absolutely love it. Personally, I enjoy adding other cannabis like peppermint or hibiscus to the flavor chamber to change up the experience, but losing that option isn’t the end of the world. You could also check out the Firefly 2+ Vaporizer if you prefer more refined heating and airflow.

The IQ definitely has better vapor quality overall when comparing IQ vs Miqro, however, the Miqro is only a small step backward and you’re not missing much. The IQ is definitely better suited to sharing while the Miqro is more personal. Winner – DaVinci IQ.

When comparing the DaVinci IQ vs DaVinci Miqro, both units feel terrific in the hand and are built very well. The bodies are elegant yet simple, attractive and durable. The innovation that goes into each unit is well implemented and really we have no complaints about either device.

Both units include a decent amount of accessories with each purchase and this category yields a tie for the two. We would also like you to have a look at the design of the Dynavap M if your preference ever leans towards a stainless steel design.

DaVinci IQ vs Miqro in handEase of Use

Both units need a little bit of getting used to in order to really understand how they work. The smart-LED displays are intuitive and functional, though they have a bit of a learning curve. Not to mention the Miqro has less of these LEDs making the display a bit harder to navigate and adjust the temperature. If you’re into more of a one-button design then the Flowermate Slick with its haptic feedback feature would be something unique to look at!

They both have alright cleaning, though the IQ suffers from the addition of the flavor chamber which has extra steps towards maintenance. With that being said, we found both units pretty simple to get the hang of with the IQ being a touch easier than its smaller brother. Point to the IQ.

Since the Miqro is practically a shrunken down version of the IQ (33% so), it’s much more portable. Hardly bigger than your average lighter and impressively small, the Miqro really is one of the tiniest vaporizers around. If you’re more of a stay at home kind of person and don’t like traveling with a vaporizer The Volcano Hybrid Vaporizer would be a great fit for your taste!

Without a doubt, the Miqro wins this category of the IQ vs Miqro showdown easily. The included keychain accessory in the Explorers edition can carry some pre-ground herb as well as a spare DaVinci Miqro replacement battery which is super convenient too.

DaVinci IQ vs Miqro powerBattery Life

The IQ and its brother both use removable batteries. The bigger of the two using a single 3500mAh 18650 cell, while the Miqro opting to use a slightly smaller 18350 rated only 900mAh. This is actually quite a substantial difference and can be a make-or-break situation for some users.

The IQ could net a solid 6-9 sessions on a single charge depending on usage habits, while the Miqro can only really get 3-4 at best. Without a doubt, IQ wins this category in the DaVinci IQ vs DaVinci Miqro showdown. Try checking out the Zeus Arc GTS Hub for its 3 hours long battery life, definitely beating both of the above vaporizers any day.

DaVinci IQ vs Miqro in another handDiscreetness

Obviously, the unit that’s much smaller is way more discreet, and it should come to no one’s surprise that the Miqro wins this category. Practically hiding away entirely in the closed hand, it’s great at being a stealthy little companion and also wins this category.

Even though the IQ is pretty small, to begin with, it’s hard to beat out one of the smallest battery herb vaporizers ever. Point to the Miqro. We would also recommend you to check out the Flowermate V5 Nano, which is on par with both DaVinci’s for its size.

Both units, in fact, have an identical temperature range and score equally in this regard. Both also have the convenient and functional ‘smart path’ functions which slowly increase the temperature throughout the session. A tie in this category as well! The Focus V Pro is also another good option to look at if you like precise temperature control.

DaVinci IQ vs Miqro winnerSHOWDOWN

It’s hard to pick the best device between the two. It’ll definitely come down to your own personal preference. Do you need something as small and portable as possible, or something still portable but a bit more powerful?

The IQ barely edges out the Miqro in points but in reality, you couldn’t go wrong with either device. The IQ does have slightly better performance, but it doesn’t put the Miqro to shame in any regards.
