Vapor Shots

Vapor Shots

We’ll start off with a classic way to make a party more interesting: vapor shots! For an in-depth run down of how to do this you can take a look at our Vapor Shots post, but the basic idea is to use the whip attachment of an H-alizer or Extreme Q to push vapor through alcohol to infuse your chosen alcohol with the properties of your botanical! All you have to do then is chill your alcohol before pouring some shots or mixing some cocktails for your connoisseur friends to enjoy! Just make sure you don’t have too much too fast. These shots can be more powerful than you’d expect.
Vapor Cups

This next trick is a bit more advanced, but once mastered can make for one of the coolest and most memorable party tricks anyone can pull off. This trick will work best with a vaporizer that has balloon capabilities like the H-alizer, Extreme Q or the Volcano. The first step is to get some mugs or steins and stick them in the freezer at least overnight. The next night before your guests arrive, pull out your vaporizer of choice, load it up with your botanical and make a nice big bag of thick vapor. As your guests arrive, pull out the mug from the freezer and slowly squeeze the contents of the balloon out and into the mug. The cold mug will cause the vapor to become heavy enough to stay in the mug and your friends can drink up a delicious mug of vapor! Just make sure you wrap the handles with cloth so your friends don’t freeze their hands trying to enjoy their treat.

Jello Vapor Shots

Jello Vapor Shots

This idea is the kind of thing that can turn your party into the stuff of legends. The first step is to use the vapor shots technique to infuse your alcohol with the properties of your favorite botanical. Next, measure out enough alcohol and water at a 5:3 ratio to get the amount of liquid necessary for your jello powder’s recipe or your favorite jello shot recipe and mix the alcohol with half the water. Chill the water and alcohol mixture and boil the plain water before adding it to the powder to dissolve the powder. Next, mix in the chilled water/alcohol mixture and put your concoction into shot glasses before putting them in the fridge to set. Either actual glass or the small paper cups will do just fine. Once your guests have arrived and the jello vapor shots have set (hopefully that’s at the same time) hand them off to your guests and toast to another great night!
Not every party needs an extra kick to make it awesome, but it never hurts to have a cool trick like this up your sleeve during any party. Regardless, these tricks can help you make the best of any gathering so use them to make some great memories the next time you’re hanging out with your friends!
