Today we have a review of the Flowermate Pure Hit V1! This is an interesting vape for several reasons, including the fact that it can vape both cannabis and concentrates. Perhaps even cooler, the Pure Hit has a built in water filtration tank that sits above the heating chamber. How it Works<\/h3>\n

The Flowermate Pure Hit V1 has a setup unlike any vaporizer that we\u2019ve ever reviewed. Like other vapes, it has base and a heating chamber, but on top of the heating chamber, there is an additional chamber that provides water filtration. That\u2019s not all the extra chamber can do though, as you can also fill it with e-juice instead of water.<\/p>\n

The filtration tank does a few of things that may be interesting to you. First of all, it\u2019s going to make the vapor much smoother. Second of all, you can change the flavor of the vapor if you use e-juice. Finally, the odor will also be either minimized or changed which can help with discretion.<\/p>\n

\"Flowermate<\/a><\/p>\n

Like I mentioned in the intro to this review, the Pure Hit can work with either cannabis or concentrates. It does this with a fairly simple system of swapping out the heating chamber\/ atomizer. There are two options for waxes and one for cannabis. Another interesting feature of this vaporizer is that the chamber will actually glow red when it is heated and ready for use.<\/div><\/div>

\"Flowermate<\/a>Temperature Flexibility<\/h3>\n

The temperature flexibility is pretty good for a 2 in 1. This allows you to control the temperature down to the exact degree with either concentrates or waxes. The max temperature is 446\u00b0F.<\/p>\n

This is a little higher than you\u2019ll probably want to use with cannabis, and a bit low for concentrates but it gets the job done. We prefer the set-up of the Tourist which gives you 2 different temperature ranges, one specifically for cannabis and one that gets much hotter for concentrates.<\/p>\n

Vapor Quality<\/h3>\n

The vapor quality of the Flowermate Pure Hit V1 is good. The water filtration helps the Pure Hit in a major way, because without it, the vapor is on the harsh side. This is especially true for cannabis. Like I mentioned before, the temperature is a little on the low side for concentrate vaping, so it starts smoother than most vapes. Combine already smooth vapor with water filtration, and you\u2019ve got an option for vaping concentrates that is very easy on the lungs. If you’re looking for a good vapor quality from every hit you take, at an affordable rate, then try checking out the Flowermate Slick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t actually try using the water filtration tank with an e-juice, but like I mentioned before, this does present an interesting way to play with the ultimate flavor of your vapor.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

The manufacturing quality boasts well in the Flowermate Pure Hit V1. The materials are mostly stainless steel and glass, which is definitely better than plastic. The atomizers are well made too, with two options being made from ceramic and one from quartz. The cannabis chamber is ceramic with a air holes in the bottom, while there is a ceramic dish and a quartz triple rod and coil option for wax. We would also like you to have a look at the Arizer Air 2<\/a> if you’re looking for something with more heft on it.<\/p>\n

I also really like that the battery is removable. And on top of being removable, you can use an 18650 or a 26650.<\/p>\n

\"Flowermate<\/a><\/p>\n

The only thing that I don\u2019t like is that the exterior of this can get pretty hot, especially if you use it for multiple sessions at once.<\/div><\/div> <\/span>

\"Flowermate<\/a>Battery Life<\/h3>\n

The included battery is a 5000mAh 26650. In case you aren\u2019t familiar with what other vaporizers have, 5000mAh is absolutely huge. A lot of pen vapes only have a capacity of 650mAh. That\u2019s almost an 8x difference!<\/p>\n

Needless to say, this will last you a long time. To make it even better, the fact that it is removable means you can get extras to extend the battery life even further. You should have no problem with running out of juice with this vape. We wont say that the Zeus Arc GTS Hub<\/a> would provide the same battery life, but if you are prone to a more all-round setup then you can go and have a look at that as well.<\/p>\n

Portability<\/h3>\n

Portability is an area where there is room for improvement. This is very big compared to most vaporizers, especially when it comes to height.<\/p>\n

It also feels heavy when you hold it, but that can be attributed to using better materials. On the plus side, the extra long battery life makes this a good option if you plan on going places where you won\u2019t have easy access to power. You could also have a look at the Dynavap M<\/a> for it’s affordability and on demand heating system, plus it weighs less hence carrying it around would be any major issue.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

Considering how versatile this is, it\u2019s actually pretty easy to use. You really just have to turn it on and choose your temperature. Swapping out the heating chambers is as simple as screwing one off and putting a different one on. The Firefly 2+<\/a> provides easy heating and quick hits extremely easy to have while on the go, check that out too!<\/p>\n

This shouldn\u2019t be hard for a beginner to get the hang of in my opinion.<\/p>\n

\"Flowermate<\/a>Discreetness<\/h3>\n

Discreteness is an area where the Pure Hit performs very well. Like I mentioned above, you have the option of filtering the vapor through e-juice so that you have control over the odor.<\/p>\n

Perhaps more importantly, Flowermate guarantees that this will not leak any vapor whatsoever, and so far, that seems to be an accurate claim. Leaking vapor is an easy way to get noticed because of the smell, so this is a nice feature. Try checking out the DaVinci Miqro<\/a> if you’re into a more smaller design aesthetic and it also has a unique conduction heating system.<\/p>\n

\"Flowermate<\/a>Overall Experience<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re looking for a 2-in-1 vape for cannabis and concentrates, the Flowermate Pure Hit V1 isn\u2019t a bad choice. But there are better options.<\/p>\n

In my opinion, the water filtration is the most important features of this vape, because it takes a setup that would normally deliver rather average vapor and makes it quite enjoyable. The removable 26650 battery is also pretty cool, especially because the 5000mAh capacity is bigger than the vast majority of vaporizers that I\u2019ve owned or even used.<\/p>\n

The two downsides are the size and the fact that it gets hot after a few sessions, but these aren\u2019t deal breakers to me. You\u2019ll have to decide if that would bother you for yourself.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for a 2 in 1 vaporizer that isn’t a jack of all trades master of none, I’d recommend a unit like the Focusvape Tourist 2-in-1, it gives you more of a rig feel from the wax attachment of this vaporizer, but it also features a very capable herb attachment for some serious 2 in 1 action. It also has a better temperature range and a removable 18650 battery.<\/p>\n
