The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus is not great if you care more about flavor and smoothness, and less about strength and density. It produces a lot of vapor because it heats up a large area of concentrate, especially when you dip the tip into a store-bought wax container.<\/span><\/p>\n

It uses a quartz tip that heats up fast and directly turns the wax into vapor, which makes it very strong and concentrated. However, this also means the vapor can be very hot and dry, and some of the flavors and details of the wax can be lost or burned. If you are more interested in better tasting vapor, something like the <\/span>Utillian 5<\/span><\/a> which uses a more controlled heating method which provides strong and flavorful hits consistently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus gives powerful and dense vapor from your wax, but it’s not the best choice for people who want great flavor or are new to this. It can be too harsh and overwhelming for some people, and you need to experiment to find the right voltage and dipping technique for your wax.<\/span><\/p>\n

The device doesn’t have temperature control or feedback, so you need to rely on your intuition and experience to figure out the best voltage and dipping time for your wax. The Seahorse can work with certain water pipes, which can cool down and filter the vapor, making it smoother and more enjoyable. However, using the device with a water pipe can be difficult and inconvenient. You have to hold the device upright and avoid bending the hose or spilling the water. While it’s not the worst manufacturing quality I’ve seen, it’s not the most reliable or high-performing option either. They provide smoother and tastier vapor, putting the Seahorse in a tough position to compete.<\/span><\/p>\n

All in all, the Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus has some drawbacks when it comes to its design. Its battery capacity is quite low and the plastic cap that goes over the quartz tip is very flimsy. When using the Seahorse you will have to wait till the tip is cold enough to the cap back on, or else you will risk melting it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Honestly, when using the unit, it feels more like a home device. There are a few reasons why I came to this conclusion. First of all, as I’ve mentioned before, the cap that goes over the quartz tip is not resistant to heat. If you were to use the device while on the move and then put it in your pocket, there’s a good chance your cap will melt.<\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to the form factor, the Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus is small enough to fit comfortably in your hand. The problem is that due to its operation method, it’s very difficult to use while literally on the move.<\/span><\/p>\n

Users that travel with the Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus will find themselves needing to stop, use the unit, wait for it to cool down a bit and then move on. Partly due to the fact that you will need to look for your wax container and put the device straight into the separate container.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Discreetness is definitely not a quality that the Lookah seahorse can manage. Also, since this unit gets quite hot, it’s better suited for the cheap, thick cartridges. This means that users will more than likely use higher temperatures and slightly burn the wax which will result in a harsh smell that is sure to catch more attention than clean, pure vapor.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus has a 650 mAh battery that can last for about 30 to 40 quick sessions, depending on the voltage and session duration. However, heavy users might find the battery life too short.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has a USB-C charging port for fast and efficient recharging. It takes approximately one hour to fully charge, which is faster than most micro-USB devices. There’s also a battery indicator that changes the LED ring color to show the remaining battery power:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n– Blue: 60% to 20%<\/span>
\n– Red: 20% to 0%<\/span><\/p>\n
