The Torch is designed to work with just about any glass water piece, and it delivers a great overall experience. Yocan Torch Review<\/span><\/h2>\n

How it Works<\/h3>\n

When looking at the Yocan Torch Portable eNail, you\u2019ll see two vertical cylinders. The shorter side is the atomizer, while the taller side is your battery. At the bottom, there is a tiered connector that is designed to fit into any<\/b> glass water piece. It doesn\u2019t matter what kind of stem you have, it will fit right out of the box. The bottom connecting piece can even be flipped so that it works with male or female stems.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Once you have it on your rig or water pipe, you simply add your cannabis extracts to the atomizer and put a cap over. You get two atomizers, both dual quartz rods. There are also two caps. One is glass so you can see the vapor building up and the other is metal and has a carb \u2018button\u2019.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a><\/p>\n

To turn the unit on, you click the top of the battery 5 times. When you want to take a draw, you click the button again to engage the heat, wait a few seconds, then begin drawing. You can pause the heat at any time by clicking the button again, or it automatically shuts off after 15 seconds. <\/div><\/div>

\"Yocan<\/a>Temperature Flexibility<\/h3>\n

The biggest downside to the Yocan Torch eNail is the lack of temperature flexibility. The temperature isn\u2019t even exact, just guaranteed to be with the range of 482F to 536F.<\/p>\n

This range is well-positioned for low-temperature dabbing and does deliver good results, but the lack of flexibility is also something that a lot of people may be frustrated by. If you’re on the market for something with more temperature flexibility, then the Linx Blaze<\/a> with its four temperature settings is another good option.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a><\/h3>\n

Vapor Quality<\/h3>\n

Despite the limited temperature range, the vapor quality is excellent. The flavor is good and the draws all come out smooth, regardless of the size and duration.<\/p>\n

On that note, one of the best features of the Yokan Torch is its ability to perform well regardless of draw size. You can definitely take big draws, but this is also well suited to taking very short ones throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Also, hotter temperatures are usually associated with bigger clouds, but we found that this was more than capable of doing the job. For truly monster clouds, you may want to check out the Utillian 5 Wax Pen<\/a> which can pump out massive clouds of vapor.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Quality<\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Yocan Torch eNail is made in China, but then again, so are a lot of the vaporizers and e-rigs that are made these days.<\/p>\n

Overall build quality is good, including the longevity of the coils. The fact that they designed a full adapter set into the basic unit is also very nice. For more coil options, the SOURCE Orb 4<\/a> could be another interesting choice especially because of its multiple coil options.<\/p>\n

These sell on a lot of different websites, and it\u2019s not clear if there are knockoffs on the market or not.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s probably smart to be diligent when choosing your supplier if you want to make sure you get one that is well made.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a>Battery Life<\/h3>\n

We looked through the materials and Yocan\u2019s website for details on battery size, but couldn\u2019t find any exact specs. The only claim made regarding the battery is that it will last through 45 heat cycles. Each heat cycle is 15 seconds, which is usually enough to finish off an average-sized dab.<\/p>\n

Without knowing more about the battery, 45 cycles seem to be a good amount. That should certainly last you through a full day or more. However, for a fast charging alternative, you can check out the Puffco Peak<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a><\/h3>\n

Portability<\/h3>\n

Just like the similarly designed G Pen Connect<\/a>, the Torch itself is extremely portable, but there\u2019s a catch: you need another piece to actually use it. As discussed above, it will work with any sized rig, so you can get an extremely small one to use when on the go.<\/p>\n

But even the smallest glass piece will significantly diminish the overall portability of the entire setup.<\/p>\n

The bright side is you can take this to a friend’s house or party and just use glass that they already have. For situations where you actually want to use it while out and about, we continue to recommend a wax pen like the Kandypens Elite<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s just no comparing the convenience.\u00a0 <\/div><\/div>

\"Yocan<\/a><\/h3>\n

Ease of Use<\/h3>\n

This is an extremely easy unit to use. The one-button design is definitely straightforward, but the area where this really shines is the built-in adapters.<\/p>\n

The fact that you can quickly put this into any rig is incredible. Gone are the days where you have to buy extra \u2018accessories\u2019 just to mate your devices. If you are looking for a simple wax pen, then the Yocan Evolve Plus<\/a> features a one-button operation which is also a good option to look at.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a>Discreetness<\/h3>\n

I wouldn\u2019t call this discreet. I really haven\u2019t seen any e-nail that is though. Sure, the Torch itself is small, but as soon as you put it on top of the glass you\u2019re just begging for attention.<\/p>\n

This comes back to the same points we made in the portability section. This is great for at-home use or when at a friend’s house, but if you are in public, a wax pen like the Kandypens Gravity<\/a> would serve you much better.<\/p>\n

\"Yocan<\/a>Overall Experience<\/h3>\n

If you are a fan of dabs and already have your own glass, the Yocan Torch is definitely worth considering. It may only deliver low-temperature dabs, but it does these very well. You\u2019ll get excellent flavor and good clouds too.<\/p>\n

The real kicker is the built-in connector for any size stem, male or female. This makes it a great device to take around to show off at your friend\u2019s houses while using it on their own rigs.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have any glass, you may want to look at e-rigs that have the glass built-in like the Focusvape Tourist or Dr. Dabber Boost<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Or if portability is what you are after, your best bet is to start looking at wax pens at like the Source Orb 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
