Let’s have a look at the FocusVape Tourist. This unit is a multipurpose device which allows you to enjoy herbs and waxes with ease and versatility.
Inside the box you’ll find:
- 1 FocusVape Tourist
- 1 cleaning brush
- 1 loading tool
- 1 dry herb attachment
- 1 battery
- 1 magnetic base
- 1 USB charger
- 1 titanium nail
- 1 wax water bubbler attachment
- 1 herb water bubbler
And if you order with us, you can also choose to receive a free ZEUS Bolt grinder made of aircraft grade aluminum.
The first thing you will want to do with your FocusVape Tourist is sterilize it for herbal vaporization.
To do this, first screw the herb attachment onto the base. Flip the switch to the “herb” heating mode and the Tourist will vibrate and display the FocusVape logo on the screen. Begin the heating cycle by pressing either the plus or minus button 4 times within 2 seconds. Heating cycles last for 5 minutes, then the unit will turn off to avoid overheating and to conserve battery life. Repeat this process 2 more times to complete the sterilization process. This will get rid of any manufacturing oils which may have gotten inside the unit as a result of assembly.
Once you’ve done this, you’re ready to load your unit with freshly ground botanical.
To grind up your botanical, we always recommend using the ZEUS bolt grinder. The bolt grinder has been calibrated to grind up your botanical to the perfect consistency for vaporization. That means its fine enough to be properly vaporized inside of your unit, but not so fine it flies through the screens.
When using the dry herb attachment, unscrew the mouthpiece to expose the heating chamber. Using your ZEUS scoop, load freshly ground botanical into the heating chamber and pack it down lightly with the included packing tool. Screw the mouthpiece back on to the base, then fill the water bubbler filter with water and mount it on to the attachment.
The default temperature for dry herb mode is 376°F/191°C; temperature can be adjusted by the individual degree by pressing the plus or minus buttons. Holding the plus and minus buttons down will rapidly adjust the temperature. Once you have set your temperature, the ceramic oven immediately begins to heat up. The Tourist will vibrate with haptic feedback when the unit has reached the set temperature, at which point you can start inhaling slowly to enjoy your vapor!
Each heating cycle with the dry herb attachment lasts for 5 minutes. After this point, the display will turn off while the device goes into sleep mode for 3 minutes and begins to stop heating. The Tourist can be woken up from sleep mode by pressing either the plus or minus button for 2 seconds, at which point it will be ready for use when it has reached the set temperature. If the 3-minute sleep period has ended, reset the “Herb” switch and click on the plus or minus button 4 times to begin a new heating cycle.
Using with the Dry Herb Bubbler: First, fill the herb water bubbler with water and immediately draw from the piece to trap the maximum amount of water. Next, remove the glass from the mouthpiece and gently install the water bubbler on to the dry herb head base. To prevent water from leaking into the ceramic oven, turn the whole unit upside down and gently remove the bubbler from the mouthpiece base.
Fill the concentrate water bubbler with water and immediately draw from the glass to trap the maximum amount of water. Then, gently install the bubbler on to the concentrate head.
To turn the unit on, flip the switch from “OFF” to “WAX”; the Tourist will then vibrate and display the FocusVape logo. Begin heating the unit by pressing either the plus or minus button 4 times within 2 seconds.
In wax mode, the default temperature is 662°C/350°F; press the plus or minus button to adjust the temperature by 1 degree increments, and hold down the button to increase or decrease the temperature rapidly.
Once you have selected your desired temperature, the nail immediately begins heating up. The Tourist will vibrate with haptic feedback to indicate when it has reached the set temperature. Now you can use the dabber tool to put your concentrate material on the nail and immediately start inhaling. Make sure to cover the air carb on the glass piece while drawing, while intermittently allowing air to flow through.
Each heating with the wax attachment has a session length of 25 seconds after reaching the set temperature. After this point, the display will turn off while the device goes into sleep mode for 3 minutes and begins to stop heating. The Tourist can be woken up from sleep mode by pressing either the plus or minus button for 2 seconds, at which point it will be ready for use when it has reached the set temperature. If the 3-minute sleep period has ended, reset the “Wax” switch and click on the plus or minus button 4 times to begin a new heating cycle.
- The FocusVape Tourist has precise temperature control indicated by the LED screen on the unit. The temperature can be controlled by pressing the plus or minus; to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, hold both of these buttons down for 1-2 seconds.
- The herb attachment can be set anywhere from 90°C to 240°C; the wax attachment can be set anywhere from 260°C – 450°C. For best results with herbal vaporization, we recommend setting the heat to around 210°C; for the best wax experience, try setting the wax attachment to around 410°C.
To wrap this unit up, I’d like to tell you guys about some of the key features of the FocusVape Tourist which make it such a awesome unit.
(Dual Vaporization Modes)
The first is the Tourist's dual modes of operation for herbs and waxes. The Tourist is perfectly calibrated for optimum heating temperatures of both herbs and concentrates. This makes switching between botanical and concentrates super simple and easy to navigate, and the smart technology will know which attachment is being used and start heating appropriately. After all, two heads are better than one!
(Precise Temperature Control)
The second is the Tourist's precise temperature control. We've seen exact temperature control in vaporizers before, but the Tourist offers a truly extensive heat range, particularly for waxes. This is manageable down to the exact degree, allowing terrific control for your vapor production with just a few button clicks.
(Water Bubbler Attachments)
The third is the inclusion of 2 different water bubbler attachments for the FocusVape Tourist. These water attachments help to naturally cool down your vapor and allow you to truly savour all the complex flavors from your herbs and waxes.
The FocusVape Tourist is a tremendous device for those looking for a versatile, flavorful herb and wax vaporizer and offers an efficient, satisfying experience every time.

What’s up guys, this is Mike for TVape TV. Solid choice getting the FocusVape Tourist! Let’s go over some quick cleaning tips to ensure you get tasty vapor with this unit, every time. First, we’ll go over the materials you’ll need, then we’ll get into cleaning and maintenance.
Before you start cleaning your FocusVape Tourist, make sure you have:
- The ZEUS Purify cleaning solution, diluted 40% with water
- Fresh water
- Paper towels
- ZEUS grime sticks
- ZEUS Bristle Pipe Cleaners
- The cleaning brush which comes with your FocusVape Tourist
The FocusVape Tourist is really easy to clean; all you need to do is care for the heating chamber and mouthpiece.
To clean the heating chamber, take a ZEUS grime stick, snap the top, let the alcohol drain to the bottom and swab the inside. To ensure no alcohol particles are left behind, after letting it sit for a few minutes, turn the unit on, set it to the highest heat setting and let it run through a couple heating cycles.
You can clean the mouthpiece by taking it apart and soaking all the pieces in a jar of your diluted ZEUS Purify Solution for about half an hour. Then, use the ZEUS bristle pipe cleaners to dislodge any remaining particles. Next, rinse and towel dry.
To clean the nail of the FocusVape Tourist, use another snapped Zeus grime stick to swab the nail until the concentrate residue is removed. Once the nail is sufficiently clean, wipe with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any remaining cleaning solution, air or towel-dry the nail, and run it through a few heating cycles to ensure evaporation is complete.
For good care, we recommend you brush out your heating chamber after each use with your FocusVape Tourist cleaning brush. This will help get out any extra particles and prep your FocusVape Tourist for your next session. And that’s it!
We hope you enjoy your FocusVape Tourist and we thank you for watching! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a shout. Cheers and as always, keep vapin’!

WThe battery is pretty good for its compact size lasting all day. Overall a good product.
5 days ago I dropped the glass piece, and it broke. I tried using the herb water pipe, but it was very frustrating, as the air flow over the vaporizing area was poor. This is when I found out there was some major flaw to this unit and I might have received a defective one.
First I tried ordering more glass pipes to get me up and running. The store that carries them is out of stock and will be at least 2 week til they get their order in. So the unit is down for 3 weeks now. I need to buy a new one, so I bought a Kandy icon. And this is when I notice that I might have an issue with the Tourist. At the highest setting on the tourist I could do nothing more that a light hit and it took about 3 min took about 3 min to medicate me. (there was an up side to this, it was very efficient with my herb). I also don’t believe the temp on the side was correct as I could not see any colour on the nail (in the dark, on it highest setting) meaning it did not get past 752 degrees f. I also notice now that the nail is lose, when it sits on there. I tried tightening the metal but still lose.
The one thing I did like about the tourist was the bowl design on the enail. It was an open design that made it easier to clean. But none the less there are some serious flaws, one being a new size of glass pipe that make it a unicorn in the parts department and then no supply of parts in the system. The heating issue I am willing to pass that off as defective and that happens a lot, at least to me.
