The Career Opportunity:
As TVape’s Recruiter, you'll lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across multiple platforms. As a key member of our HR team, the chosen recruiter will be tasked with gauging and identifying top performers who will thrive within our organization. This involves leveraging a combination of traditional and innovative recruitment methods to attract candidates who are not only highly skilled but also aligned with our core values and mission. Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervisor and hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to attract top talent which include headhunting passive candidates on LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork and other social media platforms
- Review applicants’ test results to evaluate their aptitude for the role
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to ensure a strong fit for both the role and the company culture
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Manage the recruitment tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records
- Create weekly recruitment reports
- Maintain communication and connect with candidates in different job portals such as Upwork, Indeed, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Post job ads to different social media platforms
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is preferred but not required
- 3+ years experience as a recruiter or a similar role, with a track record of recruiting talent internationally for Canada or USA based companies is preferred
- Candidates with experience in recruiting high quality, low volume candidates would be preferred over low quality, high volume candidates
- Availability to work from 9:00am-5:30pm EST
- Must have a conducive work environment, free from background noise and a stable internet connection
- Must be fluent in English
- Possess a keen eye for talent, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of modern recruitment strategies.
- Strong understanding of global recruitment practices
- Expert in utilizing online job portals like LinkedIn, Upwork, Indeed, Kijiji and others
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Professional, courteous, receptive to feedback and eager to learn
- Willingness to be coached and molded to be a valuable member of the team
- Knowledgeable in global employment laws is a plus
Job Type: Full Time, remote-based
Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm EST
Compensation: $1000+ USD per month based on experience plus bonuses
