Source Orb 4 Signature Kit Review

8.7
Score

Source Orb 4 Signature Kit

The Source ORB 4 Signature Kit comes packed with 8 atomizers, magnetic mouthpiece and a 40W box mod making it one of the most powerful wax pens available. If you are looking for full customization, look no further.

Focusvape Tourist Review

8.6
Score

Focusvape Tourist

The Focusvape Tourist is hands down one of the best 2-in-1 vaporizers available. It features separate heads for both waxes and herbs as well as water filters for both attachments. Most multifunctional units sacrifice quality for function, but not the Focusvape Tourist. Both the herb and wax attachments are capable of producing some serious vapor.

8.5
Score

Source Orb 4 Premium Kit

The Source Orb 4 Premium Kit adds portability to this premium wax pen with its 650mah pen battery giving you a full day of vaping. This kit includes 6 atomizers and 8 temperature settings for a truly amazing wax session.

8.2
Score

ZEUS Thunder 2

The Thunder 2 is the follow up to very popular original Zeus Thunder, which was a 3 in 1 pen. Zeus has shifted its focus strictly on waxes for this new iteration with the goal of providing a superior concentrate experience. The atomizer features a ceramic plater atomizer to ensure even heating of your concentrates. This temperature adopts a low temperature approach, which is becoming popular in the wax community as it enhances the flavor of your wax and provides a more efficient session.

8.1
Score

Linx Hypnos Zero

The Linx Hypnos Zero features a super slim and sleek design making it seem more like an apple product then a wax pen. The reverse ceramic donut design of the atomizer provides great vapor and amazing flavor.

8.0
Score

Kandypens Elite

The Kandypens Elite is the toughest Kandypen yet, featuring a ceramic enamel exterior capable of handling normal wear. This unit also features a dual quartz atomizer and a ceramic plate atomizer which each provide their own unique vapor experience.

Source Slim 4 Review

8.0
Score

SOURCE Slim 4

The Source Slim 4 may be sources most versataille pen-shaped wax pen to date. Featuring 3 voltage settings and 2 atomizers to provide excellent vapor quality out of the box. The Source Slim 4 is also compatible with any series 4 atomizers giving you tons of options while on the go.

7.9
Score

Dr. Dabber Aurora

The Dr. Dabber Aurora features 3 atomizers than can be easily swapped between with the units SnapTech magnetic technology. The Aurora comes stock with one dual quartz atomizer, one dual ceramic atomizer, and one ceramic donut atomizer to give you some variety depending on your vaping needs. This unit is marketed as a low temperature wax pen meaning that the flavor of your concentrates will be preserved but exhaled vapor will be less visible. This is great for those who are looking for discreet sessions or the connoisseur who wants to taste the full flavor of their extract.

Source Slim XL Review

7.9
Score

Source Slim XL Travel Kit

This is a heavy duty vaporizer for those who are willing to shell out a little more for superior manufacturing and outstanding vapor quality. Adding to the success of their other devices, Source offers us a pen style unit with an unparalleled airflow system that really lets you fine tune each hit. The device is compatible with an impressive twenty third-party atomizers – and that only scratches the surface of what this wax pen can do!

7.8
Score

Kandypens Gravity

The Kandypens Gravity is a bit of a stop-gap between the Kandypens Galaxy and Elite. It features a dual quartz coil atomizer and a ceramic plate atomizer as well as 4 temperature settings, giving you the ability to customize your vapor session.

Bolt Pro 2 review

7.8
Score

Dabado Bolt Pro 2

If discretion is a requirement when looking for a vape then stop reading here. This minimalistic eRig is light, feels well-made and looking pretty cool whilst also providing mind-bending hits (which is surprising considering its size). It looks clumsy but Dabado have done something special when designing this rig, if you’re looking for something for the home then definitely take a look at the Bolt Pro 2.

Dipstick Dipper Review

7.7
Score

Dipstick Dipper

This unique vaporizer features a bit of hardware which the manufacturer calls a ‘straw’. The straw allows the user to dip the end opposite of the mouthpiece into their wax and vape that way, instead of loading their wax in to the chamber. The unit does not have a lot of temperature flexibility but the vapor quality is high and the flavor is hard to beat.

Source Orb XL Review

7.7
Score

Source Orb XL 2

XL is the key wording with this device. Source has always made great vaporizers and this one just follows suit. The large handheld feels great and boasts an interesting looking mouthpiece which – if out in public – will draw attention. Otherwise, the wax vape performs exceptionally well thanks to its triple-coil chamber and fully customizable digital display. It may take a little time to get used to the box mod but once you do, you’ll see that the Orb is one of the better options available out there.

Kandypens Prism+ Review

7.7
Score

Kandypens Prism

Nothing entices an experienced vaper like a device that skirts the borders of stealth and vapor quality perfectly. The Prism from Kandypens seems to achieve that offering a varied vaping experience thanks to a ceramic bowl and single-rod quartz coil. This small but thick pen will fit into any pocket and it’s stubby glass mouthpiece allows you to enjoy your concentrates without drawing unnecessary attention.

Dabado Bolt Pro Review

7.6
Score

Dabado Bolt Pro

This unit is essentially a portable e-nail and looks to replace a traditional wax rig with a battery powered, modular unit. The system has multiple pieces and also includes a dual purpose wax tool/cap. It can generate lots of vapor which leads to harsh hits at times. But the build quality is high.

7.5
Score

Kandypens Galaxy

Kandypens have made a name for themselves with their pens being endorsed by celebrities and featured in rap videos. The Kandypens Galaxy includes one dual quartz rod atomizer and 3 temperature settings to provide large clouds of vapor. The dish of the Kandypen is quite deep and you can fit almost a half gram of your favorite concentrate. The design is simple, straight forward and packs a punch with each draw.

7.4
Score

Pulsar APX Wax

The Pulsar APX wax is suprising powerful for such a small device. It features an impressive triple quartz coil atomizer to produce punchy and potent draws. This unit is made to hit it and quit it.

Source Orb 3 Prem2 Review

7.4
Score

Source Orb 3 Prem2

Source Orb 3 Prem2 is a great budget device for those who like to couple portability with flexibility. The ability to alter your experience with the different heat profiles is really pleasant to see on a lower-end device but one area where this vaporizer shines is its vapor quality. Wow, really, the density and flavor are unbeatable in this price range. Thick and rich clouds abound from this device. If they could just implement user independent temperature control and maybe improve the battery then this would be the best unit in its price range and class.

Vivant Incendio Review

7.4
Score

Vivant Incendio

Vivant makes decent vapes. They are usually sturdy, self-assured, flexible and easy so don’t be surprised if you pick up the Incendio and say, ‘Wow.’ Good looking, amazing temperature flexibility and a range of included accessories lay the way for a fun and varied session every time. You can use this as a wax pen on-the-go or as an eRig at home—the vapor quality will be great every time.

Puffco Plus Review

7.3
Score

Puffco Plus

For something that is quite realistically just a battery, a chamber and a mouthpiece, it seems that Puffco has set the bar with the Plus. You get an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive device that simply works out of the box. The pen comes with arguably the best concentrate tool on the market, essentially making void the problems normally associated with loading the chamber and the vapor is full and tasty, thanks to a ceramic chamber.

Source Slim 3 Review

7.3
Score

Source Slim 3

A pretty cool looking, elegant device that is supposed to be portable but in fact, is quite awkward in the pocket. The Slim 3 Travel from Source. It comes with two atomizers that both perform well with one performing very well without overheating the product or the vapor. A cool feature is the small storage container at the bottom which holds enough for a few sessions with this thing. The battery life’s not too bad either, so it’s great for on-the-go.

barb fire review

7.3
Score

Pulsar Barb Fire

Made of sturdy stainless steel which gently reassures you of its quality, the Barb Fire wax pen has a daunting name that perfectly fits this heavy hitting device. It works using a flat ribbon twisted kanthal atomizer coil which might sound complex but just means you’re assured colossal clouds. A word of warning: hold down the button wisely or you might be sent into an unretrievable coughing fit. Portability isn’t a problem, despite the fact that the Barb Fire is quite bulky – you will have no problems bringing it around.

Vivant Dabox Review

7.3
Score

Vivant Dabox

This very portable device has a really intriguing design and boasts an unrivaled battery life that will surprise you. Every draw from its glass mouthpiece also packs an extremely powerful punch. A single draw from the comfortable glass mouthpiece will satisfy even the more experienced vape users and get everyone where they need to go.

QLOUDUP Nexus Wax Pen Review

7.2
Score

Qloudup Nexus

The Qloudup Nexus wax pen offers users 3 different atomizers; a single quartz coil for solo sessions, dual quartz coil for big clouds and great flavor and ceramic hal coil for flavorful and efficient sessions. It comes with a stylish carrying case and charges via USB. It is a pretty impressive introductory wax pen from a new company on the scene and has us looking forward to more.

KandyPens K-Box Review

7.2
Score

KandyPens K-Box

The K-Box is KandyPens’ foray into the box mod style of vaporizer and they have done a solid job. At first glance, it might be hard to distinguish this from any other eLiquid box mod on the street which allows for pretty discreet sessions. The vapor is thick and considerably harsher than competitors, unsurprising for a huge chamber with 900mAH powered triple coils. The only real problem with this unit is that if you prefer lighter draws…there is no option to make it less powerful.

Source Bubbler 3 Review

7.2
Score

Source Bubbler 3

The Bubbler 3 from big player Source doesn’t fail to deliver bang for your buck. If you need water filtration then this will do the trick without a shadow of a doubt. Source has a good reputation which is kept up with the Bubbler 3. In the box, you get a load of accessories including four different atomizers to suit any vaper. Add to the mix big clouds (if you want them) and delicious flavor and we can see Source is on to a winner with its bubbler.

Ooze Weeper XL Review

7.1
Score

Ooze Weeper XL

This concentrate vaporizer comes with a bubbler for water filtration. Think of this piece as more of a hybrid of the two. The weeper has one button and the power output is constant. This means that the level of temperature flexibility is zero. The vapor quality leaves a lot of be desired and the manufacturing quality is pretty average.

Stok Edition One Review

7.1
Score

ThisThingRips STOK Edition One

Don’t look directly at this all-white pen style vape from ThisThingRips – you might just blind yourself. The company is known for making very average devices. Really, with a dual-coil titanium-wrapped atomizer – which is industry standard – the only selling point of this pen is a cool icy white design that will draw some attention. Vaporwise, the STOK Edition One keeps up with the competition offering large rips that can be attributed to the narrow mouthpiece.

7.1
Score

Kandypens Ice Cream Man

The Kandypens Ice Cream Man was intended to be a sidekick to the Elite, but ends up being more of a colorful update of the Galaxy. It features a dual quartz coil atomizer and 3 temperature settings to provide smooth vapor. Just don’t expect it to do anything different than the Kandypens Galaxy.

7.0
Score

Yocan Evolve Plus

The Yocan Evolve Plus has a built in wax storage container for easy transport. It is easy to load with a standard push-button operation. The unit has no flexibility when it comes to temperature. The vapor quality is high due to the dual coil quartz atomizer. The flavor is good and the build quality is high.

7.0
Score

Yocan Magneto

The Yocan Magneto features a unique loading system not seen in any other wax pen. Instead of loading your wax directly to the coil, you use a loading cap, which magnetically snaps on top of your atomizer, perfectly positioning your wax for vaporization.

7.0
Score

Vapir Pen

The Vapir pen is designed specifically for wax concentrates. This pen is their most portable device so far. The pen doesn’t have much in the way of temperature flexibilty, relying on three preset temperatures instead. The vapor quality is above average and the chamber is of high-grade quartz. The manufacturing quality is great, and the pen is precisely the high-end product that you expect from Vapir.

Ooze Fusion Review

7.0
Score

Ooze Fusion

Another solid wax pen from the solid vaporizer producer, Ooze. This device doesn’t come out of the box proclaiming its greatness, it’s just a silent hard-worker that does what it’s supposed to with no fuss. There is a selection of coils and chambers to experiment with but this is definitely aimed at new or infrequent users who just want a day-to-day vape that works. Bonus points for the aesthetic glass mouthpiece.

6.9
Score

Boundless CF710

The Boundless CF710 is another take on a honey straw. Unlike the Linx Ares which uses a ceramic rod, the CF710 uses exposed coils. The main issue with the CF710 is the amount of wax it uses per session, which for the budget conscious may be seen as wasteful.

6.9
Score

Yocan Pandon

The Yocan Pandon is a two headed monster of a wax pen. It features 2 dual quartz atomizers giving you some serious quad core action. If you are looking for a rig-style experience in a wax pen, the Pandon will deliver. Our biggest gripe with the Pandon is that it requires a lot of wax in order to achieve impressive draws.

6.9
Score

Yocan Torch

The Torch is designed to work with almost any glass water piece. The rig is designed to be so versatile that it can actually join with either a male or female adapter. This unit lacks any temperature flexibilty at all and actually doesn’t even vape at a single specific temperature. The vapor quality is excellent, as are both the build quality and design.

Yocan Evolve Plus Review

6.8
Score

Yocan Evolve Plus XL

Yocan is a brand we’re used to associating with well-built and long-lasting devices. Normally, we’re excited to review their products but the Evolve Plus XL left a couple of things to be desired. This is a pen style vaporizer with four coils – that’s a lot of coils. This allows for huge clouds but it seems that where Yocan has focused on making a four-coil atomizer that can produce massive hits – there’s been a lot of oversight in the design such as a really awkward and hard-to-fill bowl.

6.8
Score

KandyPens Donuts

This unit is specifically designed with flavor in mind. It has a single button with no LED screen. The unit has three temperature settings which can by cycled through using the button. A color-changing LED light indicates the current temperature setting. The temperature flexibility leaves much to be desired, but the build quality is quite high.

pulsar ohm review

6.8
Score

Pulsar Ohm

The Pulsar Ohm isn’t bad at all but it certainly isn’t outstanding either and makes you question why you would shell out on it in the first place (there are better options in this price. For an new vaper or someone who doesn’t vape every day, this might be an option—you definitely get your money’s worth.

6.8
Score

W9Tech Omicron

The Omicron wax pen features a dual black ceramic coil wrapped with Gr. 2 titanium coils. While this unit does a decent job at delivering vapor, it can get dirty very quickly and has a bad habit of leaking. For the price we would expect a bit more from this unit.

6.7
Score

Yocan Evolve

The Yocan Evolve is a basic starter wax pen that can pack a punch. It only has a single temperature and one style of atomizer, so it is not the most versatile. Depending on how long you hold the power button, vapor can get harsh.

Ooze Duplex review

6.7
Score

Ooze Duplex

Is there such a thing as a good, dual-purpose vape for under $50? Yes. And its name is the Duplex made by the ever-popular Ooze. If you are after something a little different to the more ordinary vape pens, this little device is not a bad choice, and it’s perfectly affordable. The vapor is rich and dense, it will raise eyebrows for the size that it is. Speaking of which, portability and stealth are great too.

Puffco Pro 2 Review

6.7
Score

Puffco Pro 2

This is an extremely basic vape unit. It has a single button which operates all of the controls. The units operates at three temperatures, though the unit has no LED display to alert you to the temperature you’re vaping at. This pen produces a high quality vapor while maintaining a great flavor. It has a reasonably high manufacturing quality and will hold up over time.

OG Four 2.0 Rig Edition Review

6.6
Score

ThisThingRips OG Four 2.0 RIG Edition

The OG Four 2.0 RIG Edition. Wow. With a mouthful of a name like that you would expect the most groundbreaking vaporizer ever from ThisThingRips. The truth is that with a dual-coil, titanium coated atomizer, the device isn’t anything to write home about. It definitely looks eye- catching with that glass expansion chamber in between the atomizer and mouthpiece to cool the vapor. But that’s about it really, the new OG Four rips hard – like the name implies.

6.6
Score

Kandypens Mini

The Kandypens Mini is a bit of a miss in our opionion. We love other Kandypens units and what they offer, but the Mini features a rehashed design we have seen time and time again. It lacks innovation, creativity, and oh yea, vapor quality.

6.6
Score

Cloud Pen Paragon

The Paragon is a standard wax pen. It has a single button with no LED screen to indicate temperature. Instead, temperature is indicated by a color hanging LED light. It has a built in NoGoo jar which is mean to keep concentrate from sticking and avoid waste. It also has adjustable airflow, a rare capability in concentrate pens. The vapor and build quality are fairly average.

Yocan Hive 2.0 review

6.5
Score

Yocan Hive 2.0

All the way from China comes the tiny Yocan Hive 2.0 and with an extremely low price you shouldn’t expect this machine to change the world. Choose one of the five fun colors we’ve become accustomed to from Yocan and you’ll get a vaporizer that can last a day’s worth of use and that can handle oils and concentrates. Again for the price, you’re not getting the best but you will enjoy using this lightweight, discreet device on-the-move.

6.5
Score

This Thing Rips! StoK R2

The StoK R2 by This Thing Rips does little to set itself apart from the wax world. It features a standard dual coil quartz atomizer mounted on a standard 650mah battery. Our biggest gripe is that this pen features a plastic vapor path, and while it may be cool to look at, we do not trust it in the long run.

6.5
Score

Airvape OM

The names OM…AirVape OM. Ignore the cheesy James Bond Reference but definitely do not ignore this ultra-portable and discreet keyring style vape. That’s correct, this vaporizer is about the size of your middle finger. With that in mind, the tiny device packs a punch, you can’t fill the chamber too much but it definitely makes use of what you do manage to get in there with a dual-coil atomizer. For those with discretion in mind.

Atmos Magna Review

6.5
Score

Atmos Magna

The Atmos Magna earns the award for being the most slightly above average vape pen on the market. You will not be disappointed at this cheap and reliable dual-core vaporizer. It’s not outstanding but it definitely does the job. What makes it stand out a quarter of a centimeter above the rest, however, is a cool magnetic connector that facilitates loading. The vapor quality is nothing exceptional but this is a noteworthy example of a standard wax pen.

6.4
Score

Linx Ares

The Linx Ares wax pen is marketed as a honey straw, which means instead of having to load this wax pen, you dip the exposed heating element directly into your container of wax. This means no more sticky fingers or improper loading.

XVape Muse review

6.4
Score

XVAPE Muse

This tiny unit is unique in that it is both a vaporizer and a pen, in the literal sense that you can actually use it to make marks on paper. This vape is the height of discretion. The vape has three temperature settings, though it does not seem to heat precisely to the stated temperatures. The vapor quality is acceptable at the right settings and poor at the wrong ones.

Yocan Flick Review

6.3
Score

Yocan Flick

Yocan has a great habit of producing vaporizers that catch our eye. They have continued this trend with the dual use Flick. You wouldn’t be blamed for thinking this is a lighter—and this is more than likely what they were going for with this device making it perfect for a discreet vaping session. But as with most small, palmable devices, the Flick holds out on many features. This is as basic as it gets, simply insert your wax/oil and fire it up. This one is definitely for portability, not flexibility.

6.3
Score

Dr Dabber Light

This inexpensive unit fits into the category sometimes called micro wax pens. Not only is it extremely small it is also incredibly inexpensive. The Dabber is extremely basic. It has no temperature flexibility, and no temperature indication. The vapor quality is incredible for the price and the build quality is equally impressive.

6.3
Score

Kind Pen

The Kind Pen Dream was touted as one of the best wax pens of 2016, but we found it a bit underwhelming. It features a ceramic donut atomizer and a glass mouthpiece to provide pure flavor. However the glass mouthpiece is also this units Achilles heel as it can be quite fragile.

Yocan Evolve C Review

6.2
Score

Yocan Evolve C

On a budget but want to rest easy that you’re buying from a reputable company? The Yocan Evolve C is a basic wax and oil pen that should satisfy your needs. The pen comes in five different colors to choose from and is the most basic form of vaporizer available. There is no temperature flexibility so simply fill your bowl with either oil or wax and hold the one button down to draw. Expect nothing more than absolutely O.K. vapor from both wax and oils.

6.2
Score

Atmos L’Or

This flashy piece of hardware is the result of an Atmos collaboration with the rapper Tyga. Upon inspection, it is actually an upgraded version of the Atmos Magna. The pen is designed exclusively for concentrates. It has a single button, no LED screen, and very little temperature flexibility. Temperature is indicated by a color-changing LED light. The build and vapor quality are both high.

Wulf Duo Review

6.1
Score

Wulf Duo

The Wulf Duo is a dinky vape that is able to be used with both oils and thicker concentrates like wax. If discretion and portability are on top of your prerequisites list then this might be the one for you. Everything slides smoothly into place on this unit making it easy to build and load for quick sessions on the go. You can customize the voltage to find the flavor that fits your taste and the oil chamber is surprisingly tasty too!

Pulsar Go Review

5.9
Score

Pulsar Go

If I saw someone on this street with one of the many colored, Pulsar Go’s then I would think they were simply holding a clipper lighter. That was obviously the inspiration and it makes for a good stealthy model, but the Go fails in other, arguably more important areas. This multi-purpose device is supposed to be able to handle wax and dry-herbs but it doesn’t do either well—it’s just too hot.

Shatterizer Concentrate Vaporizer Review

5.8
Score

Shatterizer

It looks like a lightbulb, so if you’re looking for something that is suitable for every day, on the street use then you might want to look elsewhere. However, despite the odd shape – this is a pretty awesome device. Built with high-quality materials that are meant to last, the vaporizer can handle oils and concentrates of various descriptions perfectly and the dome at the top ensures no vapor is lost. This is a strong contender in the price range.

KandyPens Waxxy Review

5.7
Score

Kandypens Waxxy

Sometimes you need a disposable vape. Something to bring across the country or on an adventure. The Waxxy could be that pen. With one button and one single-coil atomizer, this is as bare-bones as vape pens get and unsurprisingly costs between 30 and 40 dollars. There’s nothing notably bad to write about and one pretty admirable feature is that Kandypens offers free lifetime coil replacements. Now that’s something all manufacturers could learn from.

XVape Cricket Review

5.6
Score

XVape Cricket

The Cricket is one of the cheapest wax pens on the market. It is possibly the most basic unit available for sale. The vape has a single button and no LED screen. It also lacks an LED indicator light. The pen has one single temperature setting. The unit vaporizes at a high temperature which leads to hot vapor and poor flavor. The manufacturing quality is acceptable but nothing special.

5.4
Score

Exxus Go

The Exxus Go is not quite sure what it wants to be, is it a portable? Is it a stationary? Both? The unit is capable of producing some good vapor with its triple coil atomizer, but the shape and exposed glass parts leave a lot to be desired.
