You should have a decent general understanding of our product categories before you submit an application. It will drastically increase your chances, compared to others that don’t.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategize and produce high-quality video content that includes product reviews, tutorials, and promotional videos for TVape’s YouTube channel and other digital platforms.
• Lead the design and deployment of engaging graphics and video content, ensuring consistency with our brand’s visual identity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage content timelines, from conception through to execution and analytics.
• Monitor and analyze content performance using advanced tools (e.g., Crazy Egg, YouTube Analytics) to continually optimize our content and user engagement.
• Develop content strategies that align with our mission to educate users about the benefits and functionalities of different vaporizers.
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in digital marketing and content creation, with a robust portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video content skills.
• Previous experience in front of a camera is a plus, but not required. Actors are welcome.
• Previous experience in overseeing productivity of a team or content schedule.
• Strong understanding of YouTube and social media platforms, with a genuine passion for the cannabis and vaporizer industry.
• Exceptional ability to convey ideas and information clearly, both in visual formats and on camera.
• Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a budtender is advantageous, but not required.
• Fluency in German a plus, but not required.

Location:

Remote, with requirements for occasional in-studio sessions at our facility in Scarborough, ON.

Compensation:

• Compensation: $100,000 per annum, based on experience.
• Benefits: In line with company Benefits program.

Product Development Engineer

We are looking for a remote Product Development Engineer with a full understanding of methodic product development who is highly skilled in SolidWorks. The Product Development Engineer will need to plan, develop, design and source unique and top of the line vaporizer products for Thermodyne Systems and also coordinate throughout the full development process with our team internally and our suppliers externally around the world. You will get trained to become a product owner and will be reporting directly to the CPO of TVAPE. Any interested applicant must be available to work from 10:00 - 19:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST) from Monday to Friday (8-hour day with 1 hour lunch/dinner).

You must submit a detailed portfolio showcasing your expertise in SolidWorks design specifically focused on part design, surface design, sheet metal design, assembly design and drawings you have created.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning projects from conception to market launch.
• Sketching and designing of rough concept ideas up to detailed product models with the use of SolidWorks.
• Coordinating with supplier engineers and representatives to work on projects from ideation and implementation up to launch.
• Coordinate prototyping, sampling, tooling and mass production with network of suppliers.
• Manage low-complexity white label projects or addition of simple products from conception to market launch.
• Source new suppliers and manufacturers when needed with negotiation of pricing and services.
• Understand and build product cost structures, BOMs and technical project documentation based on our existing processes.
• Follow existing processes throughout the projects and tasks and develop new processes when the needed.

Job Requirements:

• Intermediate SolidWorks skills in part design, assembly design and drawings.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another related field.
• Minimum of 2 years professional CAD experience with SolidWorks in designing as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in product development, design and manufacture. Experience duration can overlap with CAD experience.
• In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and their respective part design requirements specifically in areas of; design for plastic injection molding; design for compression molding; design for CNC machining; design for sheet metal fabrication; design for 3D printing (FDM, FFM); design for prototyping; design for extrusion; design for die casting; design for investment casting; design for thermo-forming, design for assembly.
• Capable of drawing and sketching ideas on paper with low level of detail before jumping into detailed CAD design.
• Basic knowledge of surface finishing, coating, plating, painting and other finishing processes.
• Basic knowledge of materials including widely used plastics, metals and ceramics.
• Highly adaptable to stressful situations and work under time pressure.
