Utillian 2 Ceramic Donut Heating Element

The dual coil works great. The donut coil that came with the unit originally was defective, so I thought. It wouldn’t heat up at all. They sent me a new one and these ceramic donuts are just not user friendly nor do they heat up very well. It leaves a mess in the chamber and is more of a pain to clean up than it is enjoyable to use. Maybe there’s just not enough explanation of how to properly use the thing. They didn’t send me anything with the purchase and I can’t find anything online other than the basic heat settings. If it works good for some, I haven’t figured out how yet and probably won’t spend a lot more time messing with it and wasting what goes in it. I’ll stick with the quarts rod dual coil until the technology on the ceramic is improved.

Not sure what is up with the donut coil, mine didn't work. Wouldn't even melt the wax, made my Utillian 2 start flashing red before shutting down. Could not find a way around it, found other people online who had the same issue as me. Best to stick with the dual quartz coil instead.

The Ceramic Donut coil hit harder and the favor is on point can't go wrong with them. If you have a Utillian 2 the ceramic donut coil is a must have.
