Updated: March 26, 2024

The CCELL Rizo is a recent addition to CCELL’s product line, a brand recognized for its budget vape devices. How It Works

The CCELL Rizo device allows you to use your 510 thread cartridges with ease and convenience. It is a 510 battery that powers the cartridge and produces vapor when you inhale. It has a simple and intuitive design, which makes it easy to operate.

Here are the basic steps on how to use the CCELL Rizo:

Step 1: Prepare your 0.5 or 1 mm cartridge before you start a session.
Step 2: Attach the magnetic adapter to your cartridge.
Step 3: Drop the cartridge into the designated area.
Step 4: Turn the unit on and choose your temperature using the switch on the bottom.
Step 5: Simply inhale from the cartridge’s mouthpiece; the device’s inhale-activated feature will enable the heating element during your inhale.

Manufacturing Quality

This Cartridge Vaporizer has decent manufacturing quality compared to other products on the market, but it also has some drawbacks. For example, it has a battery capacity of 300 mAh, which may not last as long as other devices with larger batteries, like the Tronian Pitron which is slightly more efficient and provides a 350 mAh battery.

The CCELL Rizo is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, PC, and silicone. The aluminum alloy gives it a solid feel, and the silicone cover provides a little extra security by protecting the charging port and dual switch from liquids and dust. With that said, manufacturers that aim for good quality usually try to minimize the use of plastics because they can leave a bad taste, especially at higher temperatures or during longer sessions. In this case, I understand that the material chosen was to cheapen the cost of the unit and was not intended for quality sessions.

The Rizo can be used with both 0.5 ml and 1 ml cartridges, which makes it versatile. However, the 1 ml cartridge will stick out a bit and make it less discreet. The Rizo is easy to use because it has a draw activation feature. It also vibrates to let you know when it’s ready to use. Some users find the vibration when they take a draw to be a little strange and unsettling at first.

CCELL_Rizo_Review_Temperature_Flexibility

Temperature Flexibility

The CCELL Rizo offers two voltage settings that can be adjusted by sliding the switch at the bottom of the device under the silicone cover. In my opinion, for budget devices like this that are designed for quick and uncomplicated sessions, having just 2 options is more than enough

To give you some perspective, a popular 510 battery such as the Tronian Nutron provides more temperature options but also features a better build, capable of handling different temperatures properly. Even if the Rizo had more settings, it couldn’t properly control the temperature because of its lower-quality build focused on producing a budget vape

The voltage settings available on the CCELL Rizo are 2.8V and 3.3V. Higher voltages produce thicker vapor, while lower voltages provide more flavorful vapor with less density. The temperature flexibility of the CCELL Rizo makes it suitable for beginners who prefer a straightforward device to start their journey with 510 thread batteries. However, it is less precise or versatile than other higher-quality options.

CCELL_Rizo_Review_Portability

Portability

The CCELL Rizo is quite compact, which makes it ideal for vaping on the go. It is one of the smallest and lightest 510 thread batteries on the market, measuring 62.7 x 34 x 14.8 mm. It can easily fit in your pocket, purse, or backpack without adding space or weight. Furthermore, it has a square shape that fits comfortably in your hand and doesn’t draw much attention.

The CCELL Rizo’s portability is good but not flawless. It may not suit users who prefer larger cartridges or longer battery life. When using a 1ml cartridge, the unit becomes less discreet since the cart will protrude out of the unit, making it quite obvious that you are using a vape.

CCELL_Rizo_Review_Battery_Life

Battery Life

The CCELL Rizo provides a battery capacity of 300 mAh, which is relatively low compared to other products on the market. According to the manufacturer, it can last for a single day on a single charge, but this may vary depending on the usage and the temperature setting used.

The CCELL Rizo battery is adequate for occasional or light users, but may not be enough for heavy or frequent users who need longer sessions or higher temperatures. In this case, I would look at Tronian Pitron

The CCELL Rizo features USB-C charging which is definitely a big plus. It also comes with an LED indicator at the top of the device that will always show you the battery status and inform you when it is time to charge the unit.

CCELL_Rizo_Review_Overall

Overall Experience

Riding on the reputation of the CCELL brand, known for its history of producing budget 510 thread devices, the Rizo is both functional and portable. However, no product is without its nuances. The Rizo’s battery capacity is insufficient for most users and the overall build quality is not intended for quality concentrates

While the CCELL Rizo stands strong in many aspects, those in search of more specialized features, especially in terms of temperature flexibility and battery life, might want to consider other options. The Tronian Nutron, for instance, offers a broader voltage range, catering to the refined tastes of 510 thread connoisseurs.

The CCELL Rizo is a good option, but your personal preferences are important in choosing. If you want longer or higher-quality vaping sessions, the Rizo may not be the best choice. There are other products that perform better and are more convenient at a similar or lower price. You can compare the Rizo to other popular units on our ranking page
