EDIT Digibake Portable Herb Vaporizer Review

Updated: October 6, 2023

Everyone Does It or EDIT had a humble beginning in 2000 as a shop selling smoking stuff and giftware in St. Albans. While the shop still stands where it was, the brand has come a long way. Today Everyonedoesit offers an amazing selection of vaporizers, bongs, pipes, rigs and rolling papers. Today we will review the EDIT Digibake Vaporizer, an exclusive product from their EDIT Collection.

Also if this is your first vaporizer be sure to check out our Vaporizer Buyers Guide.

Review: EDIT Digibake Vaporizer

Digibake Review

How it Works

Let’s quickly give you an idea of how this vaporizer functions. What we like best about this product is that it’s pretty simple to use for first-timers. The sleek body is lighter than your iPhone and you can hold comfortably in your hands as you pull out the mouthpiece to expose the chamber.

The ceramic chamber or oven is one of the key things that make this product stand out from the herd. It produces better flavor and smoother vapes than a metallic one. Now, you just need to fill up the chamber with whichever dry herb you wish to use and put the cap back tightly.

On the front side of the vaporizer, you will find the simple-to-use controls which include an 8.5 mm LED screen, a power button and two more buttons for increasing and decreasing the temperature. When you power the device, the chamber starts heating and it gets warm quickly.

You just need to toggle the up and down buttons to adjust the temperature according to your preference. What we appreciate about the product is that the hits are clean, untainted and free from any plastic tastes.

Temperature Flexibility

EDIT allows customers to set their own preferred temperature for heating the desired herb. The intuitive controls and easy up and down buttons allow you to find that perfect temp that suits your tastes.

However, let me warn you that the devices heat up very quickly so if you leave it for 2 minutes it might get unbearably hot. We would recommend that you keep the temperature below 400 Fahrenheit because it gets too hot over that mark. If you’re interested in a preset of temperatures and if you’re not quite sure yet which precise temp you wanna go with, for that we would recommend you to look at the Utillian 420 Vaporizer.

Vapor Quality

One of the biggest selling points of this herb vaporizer is that the chamber is made from ceramic material, which lends an untainted taste to it. The chamber heats quickly making cannabis last longer than usual. The flavor is distinctly pure and better than what you get from a metallic chamber.

However, despite the chamber being made from ceramic the mouthpiece is derived from plastic and after several draws its apparent that the plastic affects the overall flavor of your vapor which is a shame. The Firefly 2+ would a great choice for someone who wants a more luxurious venture with their vaporizer, with its on-demand heating and many unique features.

Manufacturing Quality

When we first looked at the EDIT Digibake Vaporizer, we were not impressed by the look of the device, in fact, it looks similar to a G-Pen Elite.  The build quality is not the best, with plastic being employed in the mouthpiece.

The exterior has a nice matte finish to it that makes it look good. Even though the product is not very well-constructed, the manufacturer has smartly camouflaged the shortcomings with a glossy exterior. The advanced LED display perfectly complements the chassis and the intuitive control system enables users to enjoy the vapor with ease.

The product comes in a nice black box that contains the user guide, cleaning kit, and accessories which include a wall adapter, mesh screens, retractable USB charger, and a metal packing tool.

Battery Life

The battery life is definitely average. I tested it by setting it at the max temperature and seeing how many sessions it could handle. I got at least 4 sessions of 10 minutes each for every charge.

Specific time per charge ended up being between 40 minutes to an hour. While taking roughly 2 hours to fully charge. If you’re thinking of a more power-packed vaporizer, then you can have a look at the Arizer Solo 2 with its conductive heating and 3 hours of battery life

Portability

The EDIT Digibake Vaporizer is definitely small enough to easily fit in a pocket, bag or purse for easy transport.  Though we do worry about the plastic mouthpiece taking a bit of a beating and recommend picking up a vaporizer case if you are looking to travel with it.  You can also have a look at the Davinci IQC and set it up with a case, with its futuristic design and haptic feedback (and those amazing LED lights that show the temperatures) is something to look at!

Ease of Use

While Digibake Vape loses a few points in manufacturing quality, it more than makes up for that when it comes to ease of use.

The product comes with some amazing features like the ceramic oven which makes heating cannabis quicker and adjustable temperature settings to give users more control over their vaping experience.  You can also check out our Dynavap M, with its unique hybrid heating feature, and one-button functionality.

Discreetness

The device is super light which makes it highly portable. More than anything else we love how this vaporizer can be used discretely when you want to feel the vape without letting others know.

Plus it is pocketable enough that you can quickly put it away should the need ever arise. The LITLE One would be a really good option if you’re looking for something really compact and to be the same size as the size of your palms, check it out.

Overall Experience

We feel the EDIT Digibake Vaporizer is a mix of both goods and bads sharing an almost equal space. While the chamber is narrow making it difficult to load, it delivers mediocre hits limited by a plastic mouthpiece that dampens the flavor.

The build quality is not great when compared to other products in the same price range, in fact, we would recommend checking out the Utillian 420 first. The 420 features a ceramic chamber, a glass mouthpiece, and a digital display.
