Kandypens C-Box Review – Lighter than a lighter
Misleading titles, its not actually that light, but close! Weve reviewed a lot of Kandypens vaporizers before like the Kandypens Rubi and Kandypens Crystal Black and come away with mixed feelings.
The Kandypens C-Box promises top quality oil and liquid vapor production in a tiny form factor. Check out how we feel about the Kandypens C-Box Black here!

Review: Kandypens C-Box
Manufacturing Quality
It feels alright. Its not high end by any means like the Vessel Oil Cartridge battery but doesnt necessarily feel too cheap. All devices made by KandyPens are made in China and you get what you pay for. It is only compatible with <9.6mm diameter tanks, so keep that in mind too!
Included in the box is a very basic kit consisting of the vape battery itself, magnetic thread adapters, and Micro-USB charger. Not much else to include for an oil battery really.
Power Flexibility
You get four voltage settings to play with, 3.4v, 3.6v, 3.8v, and 4.0v. This is quite sufficient for almost every case and we have no complaints, however many devices in the price point like the Yocan Uni Pro features complete power control with an OLED display.
Battery Life
390mAh is certainly enough to keep you chugging along for all day and is par for the course compared to other units like the CCell Palm.
For most people, this will easily last a few days and if you do run out of power, itll take less than an hour to fully top up again.
Portability
Like the Smok Micare, its very small! Barely larger than your average lighter, it’s able to go practically anywhere with you. In fact, youre likely going to forget it’s even in your pocket in the first place.
The tank is concealed and hidden gives you comfort in its ability to withstand accidental falls. No one likes a broken cartridge!
Ease of Use
Its all too easy to use. Though it doesnt have draw to activate power like the Tronian Tautron, all you have to do is hold the button down and inhale.
If youve tried an e-cig once before, youll basically have the technique nailed already. Very simple to share with friends and strangers.
Discreetness
Its so small and the tank remains hidden. For the most part, people may not even see you holding or taking a draw from it. Easily palmed and concealed in the hand as well as only a few seconds to take a huge hit, oil vapes are about as good as you can get for discreetness similar to the Linx Hermes 3.
Overall Experience
It does everything it needs to, but we dont see it being too much better than other oil batteries at a cheaper cost. Both Yocan and CCell have cheaper devices with equal performance and a better reputation.
Theres nothing inherently wrong with the C-Box, but we cant help but feel its a little overpriced for what it is. At that price you can get very good quality oil batteries with a better build quality and other features. Still, it performs just fine and if youre willing to drop the cash, its not a bad unit.
