How it Works

The Orb 4 M2 signature kit may be a bit overwhelming at first! We recommend for beginners to start with a coil-less atomizer. Add a small rice grain sized amount of concentrates to the atomizer. Attach that to the battery and put the mouthpiece on. Select a wattage that feels right for you and then simply hold the button and inhale!

It’s quite straightforward, however you’ll quickly find yourself testing each and every coil to see the differences. It may take some time to really understand how they differ in performance, so we recommend just choosing a few and rotating between them until one eventually dies out.

Temperature Flexibility

The battery included gives you complete and total control of the temperature you vaporize at. From light, wispy yet flavorful draws to complete lung busters, the choice is yours.

Most people stay between 10-40 watts, and we’d recommend similar, depending on the atomizer you choose and intended results.

Vapor Quality

Certainly one of the best wax vapes out there! Each coil offers significantly different experiences with different traits in vapor quality. The adjustable airflow will also give you different results, allowing a deep level of fine tuning.. Every atomizer included performs very well and definitely provides some of the best performance from a wax vaporizer around!

The Orb with its oblong body also provides some cooling before the hit reaches your lungs, which helps reduce irritation. You can either get massive, powerful hits or light, flavorful draws depending on your temperature setting. There’s a ton of versatility and it’s hard to say which coil performs best!

Manufacturing Quality

The box mod is comes with is very standard and loved in the vaping world for good reason. There are also different firmwares available for those who like to tinker. The Orb itself is very well made and you certainly get what you pay for in terms of included accessories and build quality. The M2 redesign also features VAS (variable airflow system) which allows you to switch up your experience and fine tune your hit.

Included in the box is an awesome array of atomizers including:1 each SOURCE nail max (10mm) in titanium and quartz, 1 each SOURCE nail in titanium, quartz, and ceramic, 1 SOURCE Terra 2 with Terra core, 1 each triple quartz and triple black ceramic coil, 1 each double quartz and double black ceramic coil, wall charger, Sony VTC4 2100mAh battery, Joyetech eVic VTC mini, dab tool, the battery itself, cleaning kit, carrying case, and the Orb 4 M2 itself. That’s a lot of gear and certainly warrants the price tag.

Battery Life

A welcome feature, the battery is a removable 18650. The mod is actually the ever so common Joyetech eVic VTC mini. When the battery contained within a device inevitably dies, it’s always a shame to be left with an expensive paperweight which can only last a session or three before its back on the charger. Removable batteries remedies that problem handily!

You’ll be able to get multiple days of constant wax hits without a problem through a single charge, an you can always swap in a fresh cell just in case the one inside dies out. Of course it can also be charged inside the mod via micro-USB.

Portability

Significantly larger than most wax pens, you’re certainly compromising portability for raw performance. A tradeoff some are willing to make, you need to ask yourself how portable a device you really need. The Orb sticks out quite tall from the mod and takes up a significant chunk of space in your pocket.

In fact, you may want to think about grabbing a vaporizer case for this baby.

Ease of Use

Not the greatest pick for beginners but those who like to tinker and play around with their gadgets will be able to learn to ropes quickly. There’s a lot to play with between the airflow settings, wide selection of atomizers, and wattage control. When you’ve dialed everything in however, the results are predictable and reliable. Easy to toss off to a friend or stranger for a hit.

Cleaning is also quite simple. Everything disassembles nicely and can be submerged in isopropyl alcohol to completely clean it out.

Overall Experience

The signature kit is certainly an upgrade over the premium kit in terms of versatility, battery life, performance, and raw power.

It’s significantly bigger however and carries a price tag to match. It’s a solid kit and contains everything you’ll need for even years of vaping.

If you want to dive right into the deep end and get a top of the line kit without doing heavy research or building your own coils, then this may be right for you! You get a huge list of accessories which will really leave you with everything you’ll ever really need, aside from isopropyl alcohol for cleaning. The performance is stellar and you can’t really go wrong with it
