SMOK Micare Review – Do you Micare for oil?
SMOK is a well-known name in the industry, and the new Micare is a direct response to the popular CCell Palm and CCell Silo which have gained popularity and which we’ve covered in our CCell Silo review. Review: SMOK Micare
Manufacturing Quality
SMOK has quite the reputation and name behind their backs. While their products arent top of the line and absolutely premium, theyve released a good myriad of devices which are competitive and fairly popular.
We dont know the long term reliability yet, but the initial build quality seems quite decent. Certainly, nothing luxury or premium by any means and we prefer the metallic build of a competitor product like the Tronian Nutron, but its not bad by any means.
Included in the box is a very basic kit consisting of the device itself, two thread adapters, a USB charger, a user manual, and a lanyard. Thats about all youll need to get going and we really have no complaints here.
Battery Life
700mAh is definitely solid and much better than other products such as the Tronian Tautron which come in at even half of what the Micare does. This will give you multiple days of hit throughout without having to worry about topping up the 510 battery.
Fully charging takes only an hour or so which is good for a quite top up before going without a charge for a few days!
Power Flexibility
The SMOK Micare has an impressive four different voltage settings and a power range of 5-25W. Coming in at 3.4v, 3.6v, 3.8v, and 4.0v, youll get plenty of versatility when it comes to vaping your oil.
This is far and about much better than the majority of options on the market and were very glad to see this improvement. It also includes a 10 second pre-heat function another super useful and very practical feature. However, users looking for a device with a full voltage control usually tend to prefer units like the Yocan Uni Pro.
Ease of Use
Wax pens and oil vaporizers are quite simple to use and the Micare is no different.
Unlike the Yocan Uni Pro, one button operation, simple control, and a seamless experience, we really cant think of how you could get it wrong!
Portability
Small, practical, and convenient! The cartridge is safely contained and hidden within the device, giving you some more peace of mind just in case disaster strikes and it falls onto pavement. Users looking for a unit that excels further in portability usually tend to prefer devices like the Tronian Pitron.
Discreetness
Its pretty small, and hides away almost entirely in the palm. Not as puny as some devices like the Linx Hermes 3 or CCell palm, though we dont mind the added size for the battery life tradeoff.
Most people wont look twice or even see you taking a hit from this palm-sized device, and a big hit can be had within just seconds.
Overall Experience
Were very glad that SMOK is throwing out some quality innovation here! Though many variable voltage devices exist and small units with a concealed body and pre-heat functions are also around, none really combine them all into one to create a really well-rounded product.
Is the SMOK Micare the best? Perhaps not the absolute best, but it sure is quality! The price is definitely solid and were pretty satisfied with it.
