Bo Plus vs Juul – Pod Vape Showdown
Bo + versus Juul
|
Vapor QualityAnother strong point when it comes to choosing the Bo+ over the Juul is its significantly wider variety of available flavors to choose from. With both devices being closed pod systems, it’s important that the manufacturer not fall behind in their flavor offerings. While the Juul is definitely no slouch in this regard, the Bo+ simply has it beat with its wide selection of flavors to choose from a variety of well establishes e-liquid brands like e-juice. There is a significant difference though between the two devices when it comes to strength options. The Juul pods come mostly in 50mg/ml options with a limited selection of 35mg/ml. The Bo Plus, on the other hand, offers all their pods in 20mg/ml and 40mg/ml salt solutions. That doesn’t mean that the Bo+ doesn’t hit as strong as the Juul but gives you more options, allowing you to taper off your strengths. Both offer a satisfying and impactful vaping experience with every puff, although the flavor production of the Bo+ is a tad stronger when matched up against the slightly muted flavors we’ve been getting from the Juul. |
Power FlexibilityWhile neither of these two devices gives you the ability to select your vaping output at the touch of a button, the Bo+ does tend to offer a stronger vapor compared to the Juul and is one of the reasons both devices have the same draw despite the large difference in their pods’ nicotine content. But if you’re looking for a device that offers variety and flexibility in use, you might be looking at the wrong size class because as of this date, no device as compact as the Juul or Bo+ can claim to have these features as well. |
Ease of UseBoth devices are incredibly easy and straightforward to set up. Charge them up with the included charger and the indicator light will let you know when the battery has reached its full capacity. Plug in your pod of choice and you should be all set up to start vaping.
Both the Juul and Bo+ use an air activated sensor which means there are no buttons present on either of the devices to worry about. Simply take a puff and they should immediately start firing. The Juul pods can be a bit finicky when it comes to securely attach the pod to the base device so the Bo+ gets a small win here thanks to its easy to attach/detach magnetic assembly on their pods.

PortabilityYou really can’t go wrong with either the Juul or Bo Plus when it comes to sheer portability. Both are small enough to fit in your pants or shirt pocket, making them extremely convenient to carry, especially for vapers on the go. The main difference lies with their respective batteries.
The Bo+ uses an 800mAh battery while the Juul has a 200 mAh. That’s a difference of almost 400% in terms of battery life. While this doesn’t necessarily mean that the battery of the Bo Plus lasts 4 times longer since it produces a much stronger vapor, it’s still going to outlast the Juul and even the original Bo One when it comes to long-term use, something that’s worth bearing in mind before making your purchase.

SHOWDOWNWhile the Juul and Bo+ are both excellent devices in their own ways, the Bo+ simply has the Juul beat when it comes to flavor/vapor production, flavor selection, and overall ease of use. Currently, the Juul is still the top dog when it comes to overall popularity but that might change soon as newer and better devices like the Bo+ are slowly creeping into the market.
