How it Works

The Puffco Proxy is a portable compact wax pen with two main parts. The first part is a base that contains the battery and heating chamber. The second part is a glass piece that holds your wax and acts as a mouthpiece. 

The Puffco Proxy is extremely versatile, and the different accessories provide different results. Yet, the usage in general terms maintains the same principles.

Using the device is as simple as:

1. Loading your wax into the ceramic 3D heating chamber
2. Attach the modular silicone bowl to the glass base 
3. Press the button twice to turn the device on.
4. Select the heat level (Indicated via LED/Controlled via Software)
5. Press the button to engage the heating element 
6. Inhale once the Proxy vibrates and lights up

The device also has a boost mode that you can activate by holding the button for three seconds. Overall, it’s a very easy device to use. The customizable accessories give it a whole new feel while maintaining the same basic concepts, allowing users to experience different sessions without going through a new learning process. Temperature Flexibility

The Puffco Proxy has four heat settings that you can choose from:

• White(Extreme) – Big Clouds, Less Flavor

This Wax Pen is slightly different from its competitors because it does not have a temperature sensor or display. To understand what temperature setting you are on, you have to rely on the color-coded LED lights that indicate the heat level. Vapor Quality

The Puffco Proxy delivers good vapor quality thanks to its 3D heating chamber. This technology allows the heating element to heat up on its side walls instead of just the bottom. This allows your wax to be vaporized more evenly and efficiently, preserving its flavor and potency. The device can produce impressive vapor clouds, especially on higher settings or boost mode, and the 3D chamber is not commonly seen on wax vaporizers.

The Proxy also has its fair share of variability in terms of the quality of your vapor. Manufacturing Quality

The Puffco Proxy is a well-made device that feels solid and durable. The base is made of metal and plastic, with a matte black finish that gives it a sleek and elegant look. The glass chamber is made of high-quality glass coated with a special material that makes it safe and easy to clean. The glass chamber also has a cool black touch topper that protects your fingers from the heat. The device has a single-button interface that is simple and intuitive to use. Battery Life

The Puffco Proxy has a decent 1350mAh battery that averages about 15 heat cycles. This is not much compared to the Utillian 5, but it does the job as the Proxy is not meant to be a workhorse but rather stylish and cool. Like any Vaporizer, the battery life will vary based on your usage habits and heat settings. The 3D heating chamber, while more effective at extracting your vapor, also requires more energy. This is slightly mitigated thanks to the Proxy’s USB-C connection for charging, which is convenient and fast. It takes about 1.5 hours to charge the device if it is completely depleted.

Puffco also added a handy feature that will turn the Proxy off automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity. Although this seems like a small feature, it can significantly help prolong your battery life by reducing wasted energy.
