- Press and hold the button to heat the ceramic tip.
- Use the tool to scoop up a bit of concentrate.
- Hold the tip over your chamber, then press and hold the button for 1-3 seconds. Let the concentrate fall off the tool and aim for the center of your chamber.
Glazed Ceramic Tip
The Hot Knife's tip is a glazed ceramic surface rather than bare metal, which is the main reason concentrate lets go of it instead of sticking. In practice, the smooth glaze matters most with denser materials like shatter and budder, where a plain metal tip tends to hold on to the last bit of a dab.
