I’d never used a vape before and settled on this item after much research.
I’ve been using it for over a year now and I’ve not had a single problem.
I use it for shatter, and other ‘solid’ concentrates, usually on the first or second setting for more flavourable hits. I also use it as s battery for refillable cartridges of THC distillates, Cherry Oil, QWISO/BHO etc.
It all vapes perfectly in this device, which has also survived numerous drops, and being jostled inside my pockets with whatever else is there.
I have only bought extra coils for convenience, not as replacement, and I get loads of hits off a single charge.
I’ve had none of the problems that others have complained about.
I did also buy the bubbler, and while it does make a difference, it is very unreliable, but that’s an accessory, so it’s drawbacks do not effect this review.

The device is very nice, and quality built. It is easy to clean, the adjustable temperature is nice to customize sessions.
The twisted coil is a monster and will make quick work of everything you put in there, I switched to the smaller triple coil, I was going through my shatter like crazy.
The only thing I do not like is that you only get 25-30 hits on a full charge, I find this inconvenient, I need to charge the pen 2-3 times a day. I feel that I am charging the device more than I am using it.

So I bought the UTILLIAN 5, took way to long to arrive. After using for a few weeks I went to clean the mouthpiece (due to resin build up). I dropped the mouthpiece and it shattered. I tried to purchase a new one, but they dont have any for sale. That was several months ago and still no replacement parts. I was told I could buy another one. No how about this..

I was excited to receive my Utillian 5 based on a couple youtube reviews. Out of the box my unit doesn't work with the triple coils. I bought replacements, still hardly any heat. The twisted Kanthal works at the desired setting. But then I only get about 15 minutes battery time at best. So perhaps my battery is faulty. My mouthpiece dropped several inches and broke into three parts. The solution I was given was to buy a whole new atomizer unit at full price.

Utillian 5 V3 and Bubbler Attachment
Bubbler is a great idea as the vape is hot hot hot. You’re going to want to use the twisted kathal atomizer if you’re a solo smoker. Have to clean at least once a day or else material just gunks up the splash guard. Wax, live resin, rosin, diamonds - all these work just fine. I find the little built in dab tool moves material to the side of the atomizer where there is no coil so it can waste a bit but the armoire wicks so well, it’s not a huge issue - especially if you’re cleaning daily. Distilled water for the bubbler helps keeping it clean and cleaning in general easier. I clean the bubbler every other day if I see build up inside. It’s really easy to fill- tip upside down, watch to see if you can get an air bubble in the middle tube and then water will fill up until that point - bad description (apologies). Own for noobs or pros. Giant clouds on 3 holes and level 2 - great taste at that combo.

Boy, these U5s are great! This is my fourth since 2018 and I still operate three of them... They have one of the biggest batteries on the market. My first battery lasted over two years...The coils are cheap and 'never' break down. And the new model (V3) is even better all things considered. It has a plastic tip instead of metal plus a wax feeder to center your wax. This thing works! Saving wax too...And if you guys need clouds, I mean real clouds, this is the pen you can depend on. And the price? It can't get better...I would also like to congratulate the Engineering department of the Big U5 in Stuttgart, Germany for designing this model and especially modifying it to the new (V3) model.! The people of TVAPE are also great! Absolutely love this pen!..

Save your money. The v3's are not good
Ive bought two Utilian 5 version 2's which lasted a year. And then the batteries stopped charging. I ordered two Utilian 5's in July 2022, one gold and one black. The gold one works great. The black one immediately stopped charging after one week and got extremely hot to the touch when charging. I followed all of the warranty instructions and was given a brand new Utilian 5 v3 black. After 2 weeks, the battery stopped charging again. Both black Utilian 5 v3's I received had serial numbers on the bottom. The gold one (which works great) has no serial numbers. I think there is a bad batch or a batch of poorly made Utilian 5's being sold. I have used 4 different chargers that all work with the gold Utilian 5 v3. The black ones are absolute garbage.

this thing has come a long way. Smooth, clean MASSIVE hits even at low temps you get massive tokes.
The mouthpiece comes with a dab tool... here is a secret. Just load your hit onto the mouthpiece tool, then set the mouthpiece back into the unit with the dab still on it. When you heat the element the hit drops onto the element and boom. I've seen a lot of reviews where the people using them try to load the dab onto the element with this tool. It's wrong and they need to learn how to use these things before reviewing. lol

Purchased 4 of these, all 4 died. Just warning those that want to buy them, the batteries have issues. the first one that died I tried to return, they gave me a hard time and blamed me for misuse in the first few emails, when it clearly was not. After I called them out on it, then they offered to accept the unit back but still gave me attitude, using verbiage like, "I would only get a new unit if they found it was faulty". tried everything they could to get out of fixing an 80 dollar problem and then lost a customer for it.

Incredible device. It is exactly as efficient as the Sai (they're identical), only this kit removes any guesswork for those who don't have the luxury or desire to fiddle around with their setup. I ordered this product on April 28th, 2020. My money was accepted, and I was provided with an invoice that included a tracking number. Absolutely no "Due to high demand" disclaimer was visible at the time of purchase. I've been checking the Canada Post tracker everyday for over 2 weeks now, and it hasn't gotten past "Electronic Information submitted by sender", which leads me to believe, they only printed the shipping label to keep my money, despite not having the product in stock. I'm beyond upset, and am currently pursuing any and every means to have this shady transaction rectified. I called 2 days ago regarding this. I was told they are currently out of stock, but my product should've been shipped due to the invoice and tracking number being sent to me. I was also told an investigation would be initiated by either them or Canada Post, and I was to receive an email regarding the situation in minutes. None of which, ever happened. I have to say that this is a must have device to vape wax. It perfectly serves the purpose of vaping wax in an efficient way. The battery life is pretty solid and better than many other wax pens in this price range. It comes with two different coils for both purpose, getting flavorful hits and getting bigger clouds and hard hits. The battery indicator would have been really convenient but its okay as other than that it works perfectly.

The coils are amazing I've smoked close to 2oz of wax thru it, however as a heavy smoker the battery has to be charged twice sometimes 3 times a day. If they beefed up the battery life this pen would the best pen out there. I've had this pen for about 2 months now. Here are some pros and cons:

-exterior paint chips off very easy, even without cleaning products
-takes about 3 hours to charge from empty
-very heavy
-battery loses charge very quickly, likely due to the huge coil
-difficult to load with wax
-gets very hot with regular use
I have contacted the company about the paint coming off and they basically told me that I'm out of luck and there's nothing they can do. They keep telling me it's the cleaning products I use, but I have not used cleaning products on it. I keep it in a soft fluffy case, and only use it in bed, and the paint is deteriorating quite quickly.
I would recommend spending a little more money on a better quality product. For the price, this is just not worth it.

Great hitter! One good haul and I'm effed. Lower temps have good flavour for a coil, but I must say, I think they should have drilled out the holes on both sides, not just one. I prefer greater air flow because I have a rather large lung capacity. You can always restrict it down with the collar, but as it stands now, you can't increase it from their preset maximum. Considering drilling out my own holes to see how it goes.

Believe everything they say. It's a sturdy unit with adjustable voltage and airflow to make small flavorful hits or bust a big cloud. But that dang mouthpiece broke. The Locktite glue saved the day but grab an extra if you can. Here's the thing, this is hand held but not something for your pocket. It's heavy and the top pieces are held by o-rings so they aren't totally secure. I bought a small pouch and carry it in my backpack. Pack my wax and a tool for scraping and I'm good for a night out. You want that perfection? Add that bubbler! I was skeptical with the small amount of water it uses and it's a pain in the butt getting enough water in it but man does it smooth out those hits. It moves your mouth about 4 inches away from the mouthpiece and gives the vape some room to cool down. The bubbler and pen are held together perfectly, no fear of it coming apart unless you're wreckless with it. An overall excellent vape pen with a flawed mouthpiece. The Utillian 5, the bubbler, and a pouch fulfilled all of my wants and needs. As long as it has a good lifespan I'll be a happy camper.

This is an amazing everyday vaporizer for people on the go.
I've had this awesome rig for the 1.5 years. After being us like crazy on a daily basis. By using different concentrates wax, shatter, keif, diamonds, RSO oil. After all large usage pull the rig apart and soak in Isopropyl Alcohol for 48 hours. Wipe off with hot water let dry and assemble back together to test a fresh bowl of diamonds. Totally recommend this product.

Im a bigger fan of the atomizer than the battery. I can chuck some fatttties with the titanium coils. The battery just isn’t very strong and doesn’t last long either. I threw the atomizer on a box mod, set the tc to 525 f at 25 watts and it takes off like a bat out of hell. Highly recommend the atomizer, battery not so much

The battery is a little slow heating up these badass heating coils.So i put it on my mod box and 43watts is perfect. I've had the same coils for over a year They haven't burnt out.

So, I picked up the Utillian 5 vaporizer and it's pretty decent at producing quality vapor. The thing feels sturdy in my hand and the battery lasts for a good number of sessions. I needed something more portable than a dab rig for on-the-go use. I own Utillian's 721, a fantastic dry herb vaporizer, and needed something more built for concentrates.
Enter the Utillian 5. Beautiful little piece, heats almost instantly (2-3 seconds) and holds about 25mg of concentrate which is good enough for a couple hours of microdosing on the go.
Battery life is excellent; needs charging after several hundred hits, but charges pretty quickly. I haven't found battery life inconvenient at all.
Flavor is good for a portable. No, it's not the huge flavor pack you get actually by dabbing it, but for an on-the-go, it's better than most cartridges and I get to pick my flavors on an hourly basis...

Für mich ist der neue v3 ein Rückschritt. Akku ist grösser ja aber das neue Mundstück ist schlecht. Einfach reinschieben bis auf spuhle drückt, ohne Anschlag ist billig gelöst.Das Mundstück hält nicht gut und lottert da es nur von den beiden O-Ringen gehalten wird.Zum glück passt das Mundstück von der alten Version.Auch der splashschutz ist in ddr alten Version besser abee wohl auch einiges teurer in der Herstellung. Aus diesem grund haben sie es wohl auch geändert. Um kosten einzusparen und den Gewinn zu maximieren, schade. Ein Anschlag für das Mundstück und bisschen dickere O-Ringe für besseren halt und es währe eine klare Verbesserung zum Vorgänger. So würd ich den nichtmehr kaufen.

the Utillian 5 V3 I purchased is a decent product but the mouthpiece being made out of ceramic broke with 1 drop from about a foot in less than a month. I saw utillian has easy 30-day warranty and it's been about 21 days, but unfortunately, I'll have to purchase a whole atomizer that has the mouthpiece since they do not sell it separately of course. I should've gone with a DVT4, dr. dabber stella, or even puffco.

I seem to use the #4 hottest setting as that will heat the full bowl so vaping occurs without your stuff being straight on the coil. Its VERY well made.

Great pen for beginners
This is the first pen I purchased for concentrates. It's easy to clean and the bubbler attachment made all the difference. As a history, I've used the Zeus Arc GT for flowers and the stiiizy and a few other distillate pens. Being my first time to concentrates I was a bit wary since it would probably make me cough alot. The reason for the poor review is that it keeps cooking off in my pocket. When that happens, I loose all of the live resin that I had in it, and it fills the place with vape. Im just lucky I haven't been in the "wrong Place" when it happened, but it has happened to me a half a dozen times now, and I don't use it a lot.
I guess the button protruding outward is susceptible to being pressed, and apparently it is quite common to press it 5 times in a row while sitting in my back pocket.

I love this pen, I have had the Utillian 5 for a few months now and "workhorse" is an understatement. I also have an enail set up and planned to only use the utillian for being out and about. however, I find my self using the utillian even at home. It hits hard on high settings and is smooth on low. I really prefer the low settings in the morning so I don't cough my self to death. Also its performed in all day type sessions where I did not need to charge but once maybe twice a day. My only issue is cleaning can be a hassle, but with the utillian being at its price point its a must buy in my opinion.

I concentrate with my Utillian 5 about 3 to 4 times a day for the last month and a half. I take card of my coil by heating, shaking, and a Q-Tip and Alcohol once a day and the twisted kanthal coil looks the same today as it did the day I bought it. If you take care of this piece it will take care of you. I use different temps for different concentrates. This works as well as my enail at home. It often is the piece of the evening. It’s great.

I keep my coils head clean by heating for 10 seconds 2x then I flick the head to ward a cloth or outside, shaking any wet oil out, then clean with alcohol Q-Tip heat again for 10 seconds and sit and let it cool while charging for tomorrow, and I’ve been using the same coil head for a month and still looks practically new. And I concentrate all day. Great device. Work horse!

First, let me start with the fact that I own an authentic Mini Nail, I have two Yocan Plus, and if I would’ve found this first I could’ve saved the money on the others. This unit is literally like having an electric nail and rig in your pocket. The heating element is next level. On setting 1 I was so overwhelmed with rich Terp flavor it was almost too much flavor. Quality at first but degrades quickly
Coils should last 3-6 months but hardly last a month before they start pouring everything out of their air holes in the bottom of the coil into the hard to clean adjustable airflow holes. It amazes me that a $20 yocan evolve has better over all quality except for being able to change battery temperatures then this $70 vape. And I haven't even came close to putting a .3 of concentrate into the atomizer like the company said is its' carrying capacity; so if you were to do this I guarantee it will leak in the first week.

The utillian 5 appears to be a nice pen once you first get it. But after use of only a month or so you notice that the battery quality will decline a little bit. And the coils were said to be able to last 3-6 months and would not leak. Well I found that to not be true considering the coils started to leak within the first month and a half, causing it to clog the hard to clean air holes, and making the coil steadily put oil out of the bottom of the coil. I chose this pen as a alternative to the yocan evolve plus which I've had two of previously and wanted to switch it up, when I should have stuck to the $20 pen vs the $70 pen. Because at least the $20 yocan has the technology to where the coils wont leak and clog the airways. Which are the main defect of this device

I have well over a year of experience with this product. I have 3 total, one being a year older than the other 2. The older one still works every bit as good as the other 2. The battery is still strong. I get about 2-3 days on the battery give or take.
There is nothing better on the market. Just dont overload it, as it will make a mess on the inside. But there is nothing I dont like about this. I prefer the triple coil, but they both work great.

So getting into concentrates more and more these days, I was looking for better device to use it with. I have done many of the cheaper types with that little fisher price coil that you have to replace all the time because they are poor quality. This unit is a total beast. It weighs about 1lbs+ and just has a real quality feel. Then there is the coil. This coil is VERY heavy duty! Picture a brake cable from a bicycle wrapped around a thick nail. That what is looks like when you see this thing. Not knowing how beefy this coil was I bought 2 extra ones to go with it. I use this thing A LOT! I have yet to need the extra coils I bought to go with it.
I did find another use for them and I think its still a good idea to buy a few extra, and here's why? I load each coil up and if I need to reload the unit, I just unscrew the spent coil and screw on another coil that is loaded and ready to go!

Was looking for a new concentrate vape after mine was stolen. Found this one after googling “best concentrate vapes”. Watched some different product reviews (one of them being a comparison of my old vape and this one) and basically this one blew the competition out of the water, so I committed to this. I’ve had it maybe 4 months now and I love it. I prefer the triple coil over the kanthall, but other than that 10/10. Huuuuge hits if you have it on 3 or 4, big hits on 2, I personally don’t use 1, not my thing. For the price, you won’t regret it. This thing is a tank, so don’t worry about dropping it occasionally. Don't even bother with the glass bubbler. And don't bother with this e-pen because Utillian is coming out with a better one very soon.

First problem: Unit will not lock automatically, you have to lock it before putting it in your pocket.

I've tried many brands of pens before. This one takes the cake. If you like huge mind numbing hits, this is your pen. It will not disappoint. The kanthal coil doesn't hold as much but it hits like a champ and you can get quite a few tips before reloading. The triple coil doesn't give the clouds that the kanthal does but still works well on the high setting. Set it to three with the kanthal and sit back for the night. If you really want an experience like no other pen, get the bubbler attachment. I reviewed it as well. Buy with the confidence that this widened old stoner guarantees you will love it.
