What the Grommet Does on the XKAH Pro
The grommet seals the device to your hookah. When you draw from the hose, the hookah pulls air from wherever it can. With a tight grommet, all of that air has to pass through the heated herbal molasses inside the XKAH Pro, so every pull carries full vapor and flavor. If there is a gap at the joint, outside air slips in around the device instead, thinning the vapor and making the draw feel loose.
Small or Large: Picking the Right Size
Hookah stems are not all the same width, which is why XKAH packs two sizes. The small grommet fits narrower stems, and the large fits wider, standard-size connections. If you are not sure which your hookah takes, try both, since the pack includes one of each. The right size presses in without forcing, sits flat, and holds the XKAH Pro firmly enough that it does not shift when you touch it.
