The Best Vape I Ever Owned so far.
I have owned this for 3 months and when I am awake it is either charging or being used, so it gets very heavy use. I have tried many vapes and this is very easy to clean and well constructed. I find the flaws in vapes really quick, typically very hard to clean, use too many consumables, hot short mouthpieces, excess charging time etc This vape has none of these issues.
I added the mouthpiece from the S&B Plenty to the end of the glass tube. I stuff a 8mm cig filter into the mouthpiece for the perfect vape without any debris or dealing with screens.
If they sold them like this and have removeable 18650s so I could charge them on an external charger I would give this vape a 10/10.

The only con would be that it's not very discreet, so using it in public will definitely get you noticed. This definitely doesn't have an impact on me, personally (I vape cartridges for more discretion), but could be problematic for others.

I have been using my solo 2 since 2019, thats 5 years of regular use and still with original med tube, I did break the long tube after year 2 but other then that it has performed flawlessly this entire time. I started using it because I started scuba diving and switched from joints to help my lungs out and did this ever make difference, very noticeable. I would and have recommended this product and company to anyone who will listen. They are Canadian and stand by their products. IMO best value for your money.

I have always enjoyed the previous version, the Solo. However, my Arizer fell off a coffee table on to a carpet and the button shattered. Just junk there really. Too much money to break the button so easily after having a Solo last years and years.

Here's the story… I started smoking out of a glass pipe which was harsh, then I moved to joints. I found joints to be a little less harsh than the glass pipe. I then bought a metal pipe called The Journey Pipe which is a great pipe. It’s smooth and I love the magnetic lid. It's good and smooth, but gets clogged after a few uses and adds an interesting flavor.
I really enjoy using the Solo II and highly recommend it.

Good but...
Initially I was like "wow, what a great vape" - I love the "mystic blue" color and the improved ergonomics - it sits in my rather small hand really well. It heats up in a few seconds and the graphics on the display are also really cool, while the longer battery level is a huge plus. But after using it for almost 3 months, I'm looking at buying another "original" Solo, which I had used for close to 5 years. Why? Well, I still like the look and the feel of the Solo II as well as the speed with which it's ready but I found quite a few disadvantages: (1) I find that with my small hands/fingers, it's not that easy to turn it on - you have to hold the top and middle button simultaneously for minimum 4 seconds and I find it quite a nuisance, very often I end up releasing the buttons accidentally (= not pressing hard enough for long enough) and I have to start again; (2) I do NOT like at all the fact that it "remembers" the temperature I've used last: I usually start at 190 and work my way up (200 - 2010 - 220) so when I use it next time it automatically goes to 220 and I have to press the rather uncomfortable buttons a few times to go back down to 190, also, at times I accidentally end up pressing the middle button as well as the down arrow and the unit powers off... (3) MOST SERIOUS: I have no way of checking it but I don't think it gets as hot as the Solo I - I still have and occasionally use Solo I and the botanicals get much more "baked" in it than they do in Solo II - there's also considerably less vapour at the highest setting than I get with the original Solo. So all in all: my initial impression was very good but after a while I'm ready to go back to Solo I...

I purchased my Solo 2 this summer and the battery stopped working. The manufacturer of Arizer was able to help me right away. I have a problem with the chamber. I have to open it and push the filled glass tube inside it more than once. It takes a few chambers to get enough smoke for me. Overall the experience is pretty bad so far.

I ordered my Solo 2 on Monday and it was delivered to me on Wednesday morning! This vape is awesome and I highly recommend it. The upgrades make the Solo 2 much better than the original solo which I previously had. The battery life is amazing, the menu and interface are both well designed and easy to use with a great OLED display. The only complaint I have is that it's a little big with the stem in to carry around which somehow defeats the purpose of being a portable vape.

Very good Vape. Love the taste, love the design, very sturdy. A bit on the bulky/heavy side but that's because of the amazing battery. My only problem is for vaping, the finer the grind the better, however with the Ascent, since it doesn't have a screen, you'll be sucking pieces out of the chamber and into your mouth. Finally, I was under the impression this worked while plugged in... it doesn't. Not really.

What a Vape!
Had the Solo for a couple of years but really didn't use it that much. Found I had to draw too hard off of it and would get heartburn from it. I thought if Arizer could change the airflow design the Solo would be amazing and that's pretty much EXACTLY what they did with the Solo 2! I haven't smoked a joint or bong in over 3 months now - I strictly use the Solo 2 or the Extreme Q desktop Vape (that I bought after falling in love with the Solo 2). Cleaning the tubes is absolutely no hassle - soak them in Isopropyl Alcohol for 20+ minutes (depending on how dirty they are) and rise with some hot then cold water and let air dry and these tubes are like new. the device itself requires virtually no cleaning/maintenance because of the flower being enclosed in the glass tube -which has to make this one of the best designed vapes for flower on the market! I have the Firefly 2 and cleaning/maintaining that thing is a nightmare not to mention I've had it ignite my flower on multiple occasions it's a pile of junk! The only good thing about the Firefly products is their hard case with zipper that fits the Solo 2 Body perfectly and protects it from falling. Get this vape and don't look back! The ONLY quip I have with the Solo 2 is that there is no count down timer so you can see how many minutes you have left in a session - hopefully this will be addressed in the eventual Solo 3.

I upgraded from the arizer air to this a little less than a year ago. Even after seeing the many reviews about it being defective I thought I’d take a chance cuz It looked amazing and I know arizer customer service is also top notch as I had to have my air replaced before which was so easy it surprised me. But alright there is no negatives to me about this vape. It’s easy to clean just like all arizer products. Has a firm solid build feel in your hand. One charge lasts a week using it a couple times a day, the battery life really blew me away compared to the air, you’ll get three hours outta the solo 2. With 10 minute sessions that’s an unreal amount of time if you’re new to the game. Vapour tastes exactly as it should. And I’m really loving having complete control over the temp setting as different kinds of herb sometimes require different temps. Battery life is displayed as well so you know where you’re at. And if you do run out you can use it as soon as you plug it in for charge. Always loved the carrying case and tube caps arizer supplies with the vapes for mobile use. I haven’t had a single issue with the vape and it hasn’t given me any issues on its end. It’s expensive but man you get what you pay for in the end. And arizer is a hassle free company to deal with as it is Canadian and getting a replacement is beyond easy (which is why I would never buy one German made or foreign made, I feel getting a replacement would yield long wait times if you do). Used an Arizer Solo for years and loved it. Upgraded to the Solo 2 and loved it too until it failed. TVape warranty had just expired so I had to deal with Arizer. Despite being very frustrated, Arizer’s was impressive. After about a week I got a replacement which promptly failed as well. It was also replaced after another week. I am glad that I chose to stay with the Solo 2 as the third one has worked great. If not for the great service from Arizer I would have gotten a different vaporizer.

I started vaping 5 years ago after using a pipe/bowl for 20+ years before that..daily user. Started off with the original Solo and from the very first session onwards, I never ever went back to bowls/joints. Sooooo much easier on the lungs (and makes your herb so a lot further).
Last year I upgraded to the Solo II...and again I'm blown away. Things that stand out for the II vs the original Solo are that the II has an air intake vent that allows for a good draw (this was missing from the original unit...glad they added this for the II). I also like the digital display...and it's fully programmable for temperature, length of session, etc). The battery lasts longer too. A true upgrade...and the original I still rank high. I can get 2 solid 12 minute sessions from one small load (love the auto shutoff....cuz I sometimes forget it's on). The glass pipe is easy to clean with rubbing alcohol (I would advise getting some backup glass pipes in case you break one....or five).

This is the second time I am buying the Arizer Solo 2, first one was for myself and the second one is a gift for my brother. This is the first and the best vaporizer I've ever used period. I've done tons of research before buying this vaporizer and it paid off. The charge on this thing can go for 30 sessions, it's incredible. The BEST part about this vaporizer is how easy it is to clean this vaporizer. Also, the Zeus Grinder is amazing and it's awesome that it comes free with it. I'd have given this vaporizer 5 stars if it had consistently functioned the way it was supposed to. However, within a week after receiving it the electronic components started acting up. The electronics froze as it was heating and I had to wait for the battery to run down before I could reset it. After doing this a few times I sent it back to the seller (TVape).
It took about a month or so to get it back and after about a week it started acting up again. The seller told me that they could not accept it for warranty repairs after 1 month and I'd have to send it back to the manufacturer. I was prepared to do this but just before I sent it off I decided to give it one last chance... and guess what? It worked perfectly and it's been functioning well ever since -- for about three months now!

This device impressed at first, then technical failures for no apparent reason left it unusable within 6 months. It keeps saying error 7, then simply turns off.

This is by far the best vaporizers not only I have used but I have had the pleasure of holding. The unit is strong and feels sturdy in your hand. Because it is made of aluminum on the exterior, it doesn't feel like you'll crush it if you squeeze it too hard. The fact that you can choose a precise temperature is one of the best features of this vaporizer. The battery life is also phenomenal and if you charge it properly then it should last you at least 10 separate uses, I use mine frequently and I am charging it once per week and using it at least twice per day for 15 minutes each use. The fact that it uses glass standings is also another bonus because it makes clean up extremely fast and easy, and unlike plastic parts they don't absorb and hold onto saliva or still herb. This vaporizer is worth every penny you pay for it and if you get one that doesn't work properly It comes with a warranty so you should probably have it replaced. I know five people that have this vaporizer and none of us have any issues or problems mentioned above.

If I could trust it to work,I would have rated it 100%, but it is glitchy beyond belief. I haven't had it for even 3 months. The temp setting will go to 428F (despite the fact that it can’t go higher than 425) and it won’t budge from there. Sometimes if I wear down the battery it might reset, other times, who knows?! Having used other vapes like the Arizer Air and a few Pax variants, this one really delivers on what a handheld vape should be. It's pricey but like many things you get what you pay for. The heat up time is fast, the LED display makes fine-tuning a breeze and the charge is one of the longest I've seen. It's a bit bulkier than the original Solo and not having a replaceable battery after being used to the Arizer Air is an adjustment. As a product itself, I still believe it's worth the money and would buy it over any other Arizer iteration out there currently.

The product is great, vapor is smooth, which I wasn't entirely expecting given there is no cooling unit. The vapor production is quite good and the efficiency is even better. You don't even have to pack the stem nearly full in order to be satisfied.
I downgraded the convenience because there are the glass stems which don't make it the most portable. I also downgraded the value because it's a pretty costly vape, especially considering how much cheaper the first version is.
That all being said, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and will most definitely use Toronto Vaporizer again in the future.

I placed a cooking digital temp probe as far into the mouthpiece as possible, just above the vaporizing chamber. With the unit set to 200 C, the highest temp I got was 100 C. Probably explains why a significant amount of flower doesn't appear to have been utilized when I vape, it's still quite sticky when I remove it.

I have to say, I'm quite impressed with my first vaporizer. I tend to put a ton of research into anything I buy regardless of how expensive or cheap it is. Its both a strength and a character flaw. Usually that means I'm hypercritical of things and find a ton of flaws. Well I have to say I have 0 real complaints. The solo 2 feels very solid and works very well. The whole box set from the accessories to the paper packaging screams quality.
I'm still learning the vaporizing thing vs smoking my herb but right off the bat I was very surprised how well it actually worked. But to be honest I thought at first I was doing something wrong because I was hardly getting any clouds when exhaling. Then I got smacked int he face by a strong high so I knew something had to be working.
Now as I said I am hypercritical so I do have maybe 3 areas for improvement but I wouldn't call these real issues.
1) The carry case it comes with is a pain to get loaded with 2 stems and the actual solo 2. I'm sure after stretching it out a bit it might go quicker but eh I honestly dont see myself using it at all.
2) If you sometimes like to get really baked and have 2-3 sessions in a row, the one end of the glass stem where you load your herb does get freaking hot. It is in direct contact with 350+ degree (f) surfaces after all. Luckily it comes with 2 stems, so you can load them both up and have it ready to swap out.
3) With no open visibility into your herb its hard to tell if its kicked or not but I'm sure as I use it more I'll get a feel for how long it takes and what not.
Overall, I'm very happy; especially at the sale price. Love the mystic blue color too.

My 2nd small vape, first was a Da Vinci IQ. Solo is bigger than the other, but not too big. Solo mouth piece is bigger, easier to draw from. Battery life is great, loading is great. Thing is so simple to use you over think how to load it and use it. Seriously, toss the belt case- useless. I would like to see a simple pouch bag for carry rather than belt case.
Uses coarse grind, saves all kinds of effort. The crazy thing is the Solo actually cost less than the first one. This is a great buy. Highly recommended.

Battery life is decent and I really like that it can be used while charging. But I feel like it could draw a little easier, can have a bit of air resistance when fully packed, more so than the flight box. Removing cooked herbs from the chamber can be a little tricky if you don't have the stick that they give you to go with it. Build quality seems really good overall.

So far impressed mostly by its sleek finish, compact size, easily understood controls and manually and appropriate heft. Otherwise what it calls 399F is not combustion-ready when it says it is. Giving it another several minutes helps. And the largish diameter of the current stems requires substantial thickness of grind to fill properly. So it becomes a multi-hit load. Good for some, maybe, but I would prefer it smaller, or at least a choice.

If you are looking for something as portable as a Zeus Arc GT this is probably not the best option as it is a bit big with the stem inserted. I use it at home and it is perfect for that.
