DaVinci EQ Heater for Crucibles
About DaVinci EQ Heater for Crucibles
The Davinci EQ Heater for Crucibles is the heating element that sits beneath the crucible in a Davinci EQ. It is a separate part from the crucible itself, built from quartz and ceramic to heat quickly and hold a set temperature. This part can be easily replaced thanks to the EQ’s modular design, and having a spare can keep your sessions even and powerful with a simple replacement.

You Should Buy the Davinci EQ Heater for Crucibles If…
You should buy the Davinci EQ Heater for Crucibles if your EQ is heating slowly, unevenly, or not getting hot enough, even with a fresh crucible installed. It's also worth having on hand if you've been running the device heavily for a long time, since the heating element is the part that takes the most beating over the device’s lifespan.
How to Install the EQ Heater for Crucibles
The heater seats into the EQ base and connects through a small set of contacts, so the install just requires a bit of precision, but no tools are necessary.
Step-by-step guide to install the Davinci EQ Heater:
- Power off the EQ and remove the crucible, O-ring, and retention ring from the old heater.
- Lift the old heater out of the base and set the new EQ Heater for Crucibles into the same seat.
- Seat your crucible onto the heater, place the O-ring, and screw the retention ring back on until snug.
- Power the EQ on and check for a green LED beneath the heater to confirm a proper connection has been established.
Quartz and Ceramic Heating Element
The heater itself combines a quartz and ceramic build, which allows it to not only heat efficiently but also recover quickly. In practice, that shows up most on longer sessions or when you're taking hits in rapid succession (without breaks). The heater is also compatible with the Zirconia Crucible, which allows for slightly higher quality vapor.
Bottom Heated Design
Unlike most sophisticated E Rig chambers, the EQ heater directs its heat from the bottom up. This approach can ramp up heat quickly and produce dense, thick vapor clouds. Paired with a slower draw and lower temperatures, vapor takes on a much more flavorful, air-filled character. Another pro of the bottom heated design is that it heats up relatively quickly, at just about 25 seconds.
