XKAH Replacement Bowls
About XKAH Replacement Bowls
The XKAH Replacement Bowls are refillable stainless steel bowls that hold herbal molasses in the XKAH Pro and XKAH Lite electric hookah heads. These are proprietary pods that are designed specifically for the XKAH E Hookahs. You pack the bowl, close it, and seat it in the heating head, which heats the bowl electrically in place of charcoal. This pack contains two bowls, the same bowl both devices ship with.

You Should Buy the XKAH Replacement Bowls (2-Pack) If…
Buy these if one of your original bowls is missing, bent, or dented and no longer fits properly in the device, or has a lid that won't close firmly anymore. They’re also worth having for back-to-back sessions, so the next bowl is packed and ready while a used bowl can cool down and be cleaned.
How to Load the XKAH Replacement Bowls
Packing and loading work the same on both XKAH devices until the last step, where the bowl goes in upside down. Here is a step by step guide:
Step 1: Switch off the XKAH and, if a used bowl is still inside, lift it out with the tongs that came with the device.
Step 2: Drop about 5g of herbal molasses into an empty bowl and spread it with the tip of the XKAH fork poker until the mesh at the bottom is covered, then add the rest loosely to a total of around 10 grams. Keep it below the rim and try not to press it down too firmly.
Step 3: Wipe any loose herbal molasses off the rim and close the lid so it sits flat.
Step 4: On the XKAH Pro, flip the closed bowl upside down and insert it into the heating head slot. On the XKAH Lite, set it in with the XKAH lettering readable, and check that it sits level before closing the device.
Packing for Electric Heat
Pack your bowls with around 10g on the Pro and 8–12g on the Lite. You might notice that’s less than a traditional bowl takes, but the device's precise heat control extracts full flavor from the smaller load. A loose, even pack gives heat and air a consistent path through the herbal molasses. When packed tightly, the draw gets restricted. If it’s overfilled, the molasses takes too much direct heat and turns harsh sooner. Covering the bottom mesh with the first layer stops air pockets from forming underneath.
Pre-Packing Bowls Between Sessions
Keep several bowls pre-packed with different flavors and switch between them without cleaning or repacking each time. A packed, closed bowl can wait while the one in the device runs its session, so the next session starts as soon as the first bowl comes out.
Cleaning the Bowl
The bowl has no electronics in it, so unlike the heating head, which is not rinsable with any liquid, much less water. Once the pod is cool to the touch, tip out the used herbal molasses, rinse until no tar or residue is left, and let it dry completely before packing it again. If the bowl is dirtier than expected, steel wool or alcohol will do the trick; just rinse with water, then let it dry completely before using again.
