All of us that have tried one know what a great vaporizer the Aromed is. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth time using it, you will always enjoy the smooth vapor only water filtration can offer. Its mesmerizing light glows with your draws, creating a relaxing vaporizing experience that’s great at the end of a busy day. In honor of this awesome unit, we put together some great tips and tricks for you to try out.
AroMed Tips and Tricks
Let’s take a look at some the ways that you can use the AroMed right. The unit uses light as its heating source and the fact that the vapor is water filtered made us even more intriguing. So, first fill your water filter with cool water. Then place your botanicals in the glass heating chamber and finally turn on the unit and set it to your desired temperature.
1. Inhale with Your Eyes
The Aromed’s special halogen bulb intensifies with each draw you make. This genius design allows the Aromed to maintain the temperature you selected even when you take a long hard draw. Next time you’re using your Aromed at night, flip off the lights in your room once you start your session. A golden glow will envelop your room when you take a draw on your Aromed and you can watch your delicious vapor travel towards you.
2. Lube it Up
The Aromed is a very sturdy vaporizer, but of course glass parts can only be so tough. Even if you’re very careful, it can only take a small bump some times to chip or crack a piece of glass. The Aromed’s water tank & heating chamber are both made of glass, and intersect together when the unit is assembled. The joint where they intersect is made of sanded glass, and can stick together if too much pressure is applied when pushing the halogen bulb onto the top of the unit. A great tip to avoid this is to rub some olive oil into the joint before you assemble it. A dab of oil and your glass parts will glide over each other safely!
3. Chilly Treat
The next time you use your Aromed, try putting your water tank in the freezer for 15 minuites or so before hand, just long enough for the ice to start to form in it, but not long enough for it to be frozen solid. You will be blown away at how smooth the vapor can be with a bit of chilling! The water tank does indeed do a lot of work in making the Aromed’s vapor so cool, but did you know it can affect the taste of the vapor too? Next time you go to fill up your water tank, think outside the box – You could use any drink you want! Try mixing some lemon juice with water and enjoying a chilly lemon vapor. Or why not experiment with some coffee, giving you a rich roasted taste? The options are endless, but be cautious about using very sugary drinks – they can rot your teeth (and make your water tank sticky).
Now let’s take a look at some tricks that you can use outside of your normal use to enhance your vaporizing experience.
1.Take a Shot
Here’s a trick for the more adventurous connoisseurs out there. Next time you’re ready to clean out your water chamber, instead of reaching for Isopropyl Alcohol, reach for your favourite Vodka!
Pour 1 ½ oz of Vodka (or any other high-proof alcohol) into your water chamber and swirl it around. It won’t do as great a job at cleaning your water tank as rubbing alcohol, but that’s not the important part of this trick. While you swish it around your water chamber, you are mixing the essential oils stuck in the tank with your liquor. After a few seconds of mixing, pour out your new Vapor Shot! It’ll be infused with the tastes and properties of the vapor you were enjoying previously (please be advised that you do so at your own risk).
