How to clean the Arizer Solo or Air Vaporizer

By now there are probably millions and gazillions of Arizer Solos or Airs out in the market. The cleaning instructions for both these portable vaporizer are the same, simply because the Solo is an uglier version of its newer and better Arizer Air. Yes, you guessed correctly, the Arizer Air is like the Terminator T1000 and the Solo is now like Arnold, pretty awesome but old.

We wrote a post on how to clean a vaporizer, which is more generic but has more detailed information. I would recommend checking that out if you want to know some more detail. If you however just want to get your Solo cleaned asap so you can get on with the rest of your fun life, then just keep on reading below.
The great thing about this method is that you can do it with stuff you can find at home. All you need to clean and maintain your Arizer vaporizer is:

  1. Rubbing Alcohol or ZEUS Purify cleaning solution
  2. Glass Jar
  3. Cotton Swap or Grime Stix

Rubbing alcohol is cheap and easy to find. You can’t have it shipped to you so it is a bit inconvenient to get your hands on, but worst case, just get the Purify Cleaning Kit which comes with Pipe cleaners and Grime Stick included.

All you need to do is to fill your jar with the rubbing alcohol or with some Purify Cleaning solution (mixed with water to activate it). Keep the Jar in a safe place. You can recycle the rubbing alcohol or the cleaning solution for up to a year to clean your Solo glass aroma tubes or Air Aroma Tubes. After you use the glass tube for 5 – 10 times, the glass tube tends to become greasy. Then you just drop your tube into the jar with rubbing alcohol and close the lid. 5-10 minutes later you can rinse the glass tube with hot water and it will be perfectly clean and sterile.

You can then use the grime stix that come with your Purify Solution or regular cotton swabs that you dip into rubbing alcohol to clean inside the heating chamber as well (make sure the unit is at room temperature).

If you clean the glass tubes on a regular basis, you will always be able to enjoy clear and pure vapor.
